    I'm pretty sure Yuzu knew he lipped badly back then and expected the edge calls. He still brought the 3F to competition, probably because of its BV. I am not quite sure (I need to check rules) if nowadays edge calls also lower BV or if they're just supposed to be an automatic -3 GOE, but I'm sure the penalties for edge calls increased over time and Yuzu knew he had to fix it.

    This seems a recipe for disaster, actually, but it's a small competition and venue so it probably has a lot less people attending. Was there any confusion the two years Yuzu has gone to it? With possibly most of his attending fans coming from outside Canada, it seems like it might be a bit of a logistical confusion if everyone is buying tickets at the same time.

    Oh, I like doing these things when I'm procrastinating because it relaxes me. My productivity shoots to hell, of course, but we're entering slow Summer months anyway.

    My understanding was that at the same time or earlier Shoma and Javi participated at Japan Open and got much better scores in their FS than Yuzu got at ACI and so... talk began, especially in Japan, I think.
