  1. "Good jobo desu".
  2. Gah, something else starting at dawn for me. I wonder if Shoma will debut his FS at DOI or keep using his SP and bring the FS in any of his other later shows.
  3. So Tracy can't math properly either. Tracy, if that had been his total score, that'd mean he had all of 125 for his FS!
  4. Reading Mishin's words is always interesting but there's so much I don't agree with him on. Maybe to you, Mr. Mishin, but there's plenty of people who actually prefer that!
  5. I was coming to post this! bb!Shoma is so damn adorable. Pyo! pyo!
  6. I guess next season will be do or die for her.
  7. I'd be able to appreciate it more if I understood. Edit: I google translated it. Probably shouldn't have.
  8. Do the Russian ladies try to out do each other in EVERYTHING? Zhenya, Julia and Zagi are all artists too, I can't even. Amazing ladies.
  9. That was obviously nature's way to balance out his genetic 'advantage'. Just imagine if he didn't have that limiting his training time.
  10. Same! Two words, Zuzu Hanya: Fitted suit!
  11. Actually, I've been thinking about the idea of Yuzu's body build being ideal or not for skating. This is not the first time Russian skaters or coaches have mentioned genetics in relation to figure skating. There are plenty of comments about the 'Asian advantage', because of their famous knee bend, which bothers me because I feel like, for example, Javi has demonstrated quite well his own knee bend (some of his landing saves are things of beauty). Most of the time it all boils down to training and technique, not genes. Not to mention Yuzu has kind of been prone to injury.
  12. Also, another reason warhorses work is because they've been tried and tested as fitting to skating. A well-known music will probably already have great places to place spins or jumps or step sequences. Probably makes it easier to then make the music cuts.
  13. Whoa. Gorgeous! And here I can't even draw a stick figure.
  14. I didn't know Evgenia could draw! Those are awesome!
  15. Many commentators have said Yuzu's body seems to make him ideal to figure skating, because of his soft landings (Kurt goes on and on about his back too lol), but it's a combination of that with Yuzu's unrelenting commitment to training, his work ethic and beliefs that have made everything work together. Edit: This is worlds better than Mishin going on about Yuzu's flexibility making him fall all the time.
  16. More FaOI pictures from Figure Skating Fan 21 by YuzuX314天終於相見了 @ weibo. You can find them here: https://m.weibo.cn/u/2006627113?refer_flag=1005055014_&refer_flag=1005055014_&is_hot=1&is_hot=1&jumpfrom=weibocom#_rnd1498591161974 Includes this gem:
  17. Javi enjoying his beach vacation.
  18. If you got it, flaunt it!
  19. English sub of the segment on the messages written for Mao Asada from this past weekend's WTT broadcast, including Yuzu's, which begins around 1:54.
  20. Zuzu, the crying one is so fake, c'mon. But the smiley ones...
  21. OMG only runrun to turn the 'heart is aflutter' thighs pic into something absolutely adorable.
  22. And one only didn't notice them as much earlier season because he was a ghost.
  23. Uncle Chris has commented on Shoma's thighs even on official Eurosport broadcasts of competitions. Live. They're not shy about it. It's not just the thighs either. These men have calves that could break nuts too. Plus very healthy torsos. Athletes are all so darn fit or they wouldn't be athletes! Yuzu is just otherwise slender so it doesn't seem to show as much unless he's using them to land a quad or do a squat, but there's plenty of pictures where you can see his muscles very well. Ahem. There is a marked difference between now and how he was before 2014, though. You can see, for one, on how he used to fit his costumes and how they fit him now. He seems to have found a good balance between muscle mass and maintaining his more slender body so he can continue to have those soft, soft landings of his. I've been seeing people say he looks healthier this off-season than he usually does, so that's always a positive. He also seems to have finally decided to care about nutrition last season?
