Holy----- That is one seriously bad raccoon.
-
This is in Russian but it's a sort of look back at the season with statistics. Check out the popularity rankings...

One single raccoon closed the rink for a week!? WTH was he doing there, pooping all over the ice?

Ashley had a documentary on the making of of her FS, I think, which is different than having a trailer for your program. -

Favourite Skating Programs [Non-Yuzuru Hanyu Edition]

This was actually the first ever video I saw of Mao and even without knowing much about her except she'd failed her SP and this was a redemption skate, I cried. It's such a gorgeous and emotional skate. -
I... am in love? Damn those 3As are such a weakness, I swear. Double eagle 3A sandwich is everything I've ever wanted and never knew! He should wear that grey sweater in training more often. Edit: LOL his gala 3A problems strike again even in practice.

Going on a Javi old programs binge and started out with his 2011 GPF performance. Dayum, that 4T and 4S were so smooth. No wonder Yuzu was like' I wants that 4S too!'. The fact he got less than +2 for his 4T is a bit criminal, tbh, but at the time the judges weren't as generous in GOEs. His 3A, though. Why do 3As give so many people so much trouble!? Edit 2: BESP guys complaining about PCS scoring at SC 2012 because Patrick had a bad FS and still got better PCS than Javi who only had one stumble in his program. This was a complaint they'd continue with Patrick winning Worlds that year on PCS too. This is also the original Chaplin Medley! Edit 3: And his first European title with this! That second half 4S... dayum. Also, Javi has made a habit out of popping his 3F combo.... But his spread-eagle 3Lo is -
So no other performances from Team Japan? Hope they at least give us some fluff then (which I will understand 0 of, as usual).
-
If it's only 55 minutes they definitely won't broadcast much. Opening, finale, and select performances?

Yuzu and his 35423572098 rituals.
-
We don't know that. It's possible TCC had to call in Disney Prince!Yuzu's services in order to tame the wild raccoon. He's got experience with birds and squirrels!

Nathan has such a crush, OMG, cute.

So it all boils down to personal preference in the end, anyway, whether live or on tv or on fancam. You enjoy what you enjoy.
-
This is actually a really good point because I've seen people mention how they've changed opinions about a skater after watching them live; because it IS different. And expression is not as noticeable from afar. I think this may be why Zhenya's choreo has the miming and the more exaggerated theatrical expressions: to reach the audience IN the arena. It just tends to look a bit sillier on TV sometimes.

He could stay in Madrid until, say, August 4-8. Since, well, I'll be there then. -
So that's why he was spending so much time with Deniss and Stéphane. He did change coaches.

Javi, why you not in Toronto yet!? -
He did! (because he didn't get step sequence 4 at GPF 2015)
-
Yeah, exactly because it's an introspective program, it doesn't really bother me either. Of course, when it happens during his set up for jumps, then it becomes concentration mode looking down and not instrospectively feeling the nature and trees looking down.
-
Yeah, I don't blame him on that either! But yeah, after I saw people mention it, I kind of paid attention and it does tend to happen. He doesn't spend the entire time looking down but it's more noticeable in H&L. Not so much in LGC where he is actively interacting with the audience and judges. These are just things that caught my attention but they may not be very noticeable to others, as seen here.

Better lower expectations! It'll probably be POTO.

Is this like Pokemon? Evolution of the Zuzu! Gotta catch them all.
