he always has kind words not just for his idols but for his direct rivals as well. Boyang Jin: Patrick Chan: He was so sweet when he met MCM in Pyeongchang as well: EDIT: I found a sweet gifset of him and Machida complimenting eachother as well ^^ He's complimented Javi and Shoma a lot as well but I'll wait for someone else to compile those, since there are many examples And of course he praised and thanked his idols Weir, Plushenko, Lambiel a lot too. tl;dr, he always finds nice things to say about everyone, including his rivals, and I think that's truly admirable!

I was watching junior worlds and Camden Pulkinen totally has Patrick's style (I believe he even stated Patrick as one of the skaters he looks up to) It was especially obvious in his gala exhibition, very Patrick-like Yuzu's healthy attitude to rivalry is truly something to admire. This interview is about 2015 Skate Canada where Patrick beats him, and Yuzu straight-up went and told him "Next time I will be the one to win" And with no mal-intention at all! He is so mature and yet innocent to be able to say these things! (It's totally something a shounen manga protagonist would say, if anyone reads those (Yuzu does)).

lol. Moria is right to be honest I'll put it like Brian said (about 4A). It's doable. But of course it depends on a variety of factors, many of which aren't in Yuzu's hands. He sadly can't prevent things like injuries. If he stays more or less healthy and is still on top in 2021/22, I feel like he'd definitely want to go for that 3rd gold. But otoh, he set himself the goal of 4A which we all know just how dangerous it can be... I personally just hope he gets to skate for himself from this point onward. I hope he doesn't care too much about what JSF and fans want from him and just does his thing, be it 4A or whatever else he wants to challenge, I'll be happy as long as we can still see him skate either in competitions or in ice shows

maybe this thread will be useful? (last row with the Olympics, under Multiple broadcasts) I haven't watched NBC, but from what i heard they were the ones that had completely different angles than most other channels actually.
