Yes, of course he does, but Yuzu is not American, that's why I don't see a chance of him getting nominated. I don't think there's ever been a nominee from a foreign country for those type of awards. Maybe there have been some artists from other english speaking countries though, but it's usually only mainstream American celebrities who win, that's what I meant

I went through that teen choice hashtag (#ChoiceMaleAthlete) and Yuzu has at least 10 times as many nominations as anyone else. Maybe I just didn't look deep enough, but the other two appearing often were (weirdly both figure skaters too) Scott Moir and Adam Rippon. However, TCA seems like something very US celebrity focused, so my money would be on them nominating Adam, he's simply everywhere and is more than just an athlete, plus the fact that he stands against bullying and is sending the message to be yourself, which I think is something they'd want to promote.

About the eyes, as someone with a double lid I find his eyes very attractive, I was watching a video just recently where I noticed how striking they looked and how the shape of his eyes made it seem like he was wearing ~ winged ~ eyeliner (Ci), I screencapped but I can't find the picture now *kicks self for not shitposting about it on twitter as I usually do* Hmm, do you happen to have a source of that? (I usually try to ignore them but I got curious too because I thought they might have some inside info - I was wrong -_-) They're mean to everyone, if they don't find anything negative to say, they make something up (Like the "Hanyu hates Shoma" comment). They made fun of Jason and Gracie's mental health and self image problems in that one too, so for me it was the last straw ugh, I'm not clicking on any of their videos anymore Which reminds me that I should go and check that fan podcast that @kaerb mentioned!

You'll be in good company I think Eteri's philosophy is way different from Evgenia's: she's after that big success in life, that once you obtain it, it's over. I did hear something like "She now has to work hard for four more years when she could have retired" from some Russian fans, and I think that's how Eteri might be thinking of this situation too. But Zhenya otoh, she seems to genuinely love skating, while Eteri isn't someone to make the simple love for skating her priority. You know who that is? You guessed right The whole TCC is to be honest, that's their number one priority and skating philosophy.

All that you said would still be a problem if she stayed under Eteri though, so she might as well give it a chance if she's going for a longevity in her fs career, which according to her interviews, she is. And I congratulate her on that! Only time will tell, there's still no -official- confirmation that it is actually going to be Orser btw.

Which reminds me: Do you guys have recommendations for any professional/fan photographers on flickr/twitter etc to follow? I know of the obvious ones like Ninny and zhem_chug, who else?
