Brian Joubert's defence of Didier is horrifying and reveals more about his ignorance and idiocy: willing to ignore evidence and stupidly forcing a false narrative. Serves him right. Update: it has also made its way to Süddeutsche Zeitung https://www.sueddeutsche.de/sport/sarah-abitbol-eislauf-vergewaltigung-vorwurf-trainer-1.4784415!amp The article also mentioned about DG's slimy exploits during Salt Lake City 2002. It only mentioned Gilles Beyer as the suspect (the Sport1 site mentioned two other coaches that are going to be investigated, Michel Lotz and Jean-Roland Racle), and the article also speculated on the possibility of the case (ie. sexual abuse cover up) happening in other sports (swimming, etc.).
