  1. Thank you @yuzuangel! I wanted to comment that there was actually no inside or outside hydroblade, that they were 2 different moves, but I couldnt find the name and I was going crazy LOL. In french we call it "tea pot" so it confused me haha.
  2. That's the first thing I thought! The crossovers are sooooo weird !! Usually you don't necessarily notice them but this way you can't help! It highlights the fact that there are really a small amount of them in this genius program
  3. I got Hope & Legacy which is satisfying except the description is not
  4. I know, I was being ironic about the mistake in the article, as mercedes said, LOL OMG, my little joke went too far it seems... Rusfed made no decision, I was just being sarcastic on what appeared to be an error on the resume of the interview. (+ the fact that, was one of the 3AAA not able to make it to Montreal, 1. we would have known 4 days before the event, 2. Liza was 1st sub) Then a friend of mine pointed out that maybe Zhenya was headed to Montreal for the Awards thing, or as you said, to be a commentator, but in both cases, the phrasing was misleading, and a bit fun
  5. Wow that plot twist, Evgenia was going to Worlds !
  6. Lol these World Standings are so messed up...
  7. To be clear, I am not talking about the FS following directly the accident at Cup of China, but GPF where he was quite on fire. And I always thought POTO was underrated.
  8. I would definitely add POTO Free Skate at GPF 2014. The glorious come back after such a serious accident one month earlier... Its the perfect demonstration of one thing defining Yuzu carrier: resilience.
  9. What a relief to see him safe and heathy
  10. I agree with monchan, it must be related to axis stability. Being lean and having a very good air position helps rotating so he probably never needed per se to get his elbows in. But it might be the final detail that he will help him get the 4A. If he cannot skate, I guess a lot of body positioning will be worked to maximize his training.
  11. Honestly, the only one I can think about is Aliona Savchenko, who pushed her carrier harder than anyone else, when lot of skaters would have "given up" with do much medals and titles. But its not even the same as she was chasing that OGM she never had.
  12. After these terrible days, this place always helps cheering up Favorite Yuzu moment this season might be the 4A madness in Torino, the whole shock in the arena and the excitation I felt into my chest. As somebody wrote, it was like watching history. Then the 5 quads FP was also epic. As for GPs, I really wonder how the entries will be given. I'd like Yuzu to go to SCI (which is kind of a given, but he might wanna change also) and (don't hate on me please) IdF. Kind of a selfish wish but also because he hasn't won this one and last time he lost to Patrick Chan, so it's time to erase that
  13. Today the FFSG is having an extraordinary Council where they will hear DG and vote his dismiss or not. They need to be 2/3 for it to happen.
  14. More and more people are speaking out, now the whole affair from the Nice skating club and the coach Katia Gentelet (who coached Lecavelier for some time) came out to the press. Seriously, don't read if you are too sensitive. It's detailed and sickening. Gentelet was accused of moral harassment, and parents sued her and the club for mistreatment toward children. And they say Gailhaguet covered this for a long time before doing someting and suspending her.
  15. DG's press conference lasted 1h30 today. He was with his lawyer. Same old, denying everything, "forgetting" he supported a rapist in 2003... He attacked several ministers as if it was the solution to save his a*s. A journalist brought up the Cipres affair and his lawyer dared to say that the affair was out of proportions for the reported facts. Pedophile facts. I almost puked. Well
  16. I'm utterly disappointed by Joubert. And he was my childhood idol. Now the Minister made it very clear: if DG doesn't resign, no more FFSG. He'll go either """"with dignity"""" or not.
  17. The all mess headlined the national TV news. If Gailhaguet doesn't get he's DONE, he's even more stupid and/or evil I thought he was
  18. And he also cried he knew nothing, that the minister didn't listen to him blah blah blah... And now he's rejecting the fault on the Sports Minister that tried to ban Beyer. He's burying himself it's almost funny.
  19. As the latest update, on DG meeting the sports' minister: - She summoned him to resign within 2 weeks. - They apparently started the process to suspend the delegation which I believe means that FFSG won't be in charge of the "Team France" anymore ? - A criminal inquiry has been opened.
  20. I don't know how to feel with the program switches. If Yuzu thinks it's the best for him, let's go. But what about the Otonal StSq ? and the Violin move in Origin ? I'm not ready to give them up But well, my biggest regret in the previous seasons was not being able to see Seimei live, and it will be a fulfilled dream in Montréal.
  21. True that Origin has been underscored, especially at GPF, by this rotten system. But I can't see Yuzu giving up his dreams of ideal Origin and all for this. I would see him fight until the end, getting a clean Origin with or without quad axel, and the recognition he deserves. But I could be wrong. Or does it mean Otonal and Origin will be back next year ? I selfishly wouldn't like this either, because Yuzu could do so much more with other musics. But he has a way of thinking competitive skating that is way different of other people. But well, if he thinks it's the current solution for him I'll take it. Let's wait and see... And now I have a wild thought of the Ultimate-Yuzu-Troll
