I'm so sorry ... the difference between his PB and the limit 260 points is huge, I really don't understand ... and let's be serious, they don't have anyone better ... but, hope is last to die... who knows.... sallycinnamon
I don't know what is going on in the Swedish Skating Federation, Majorov has been the top Swedish figure skater since the retirement of Schultheiss and Berntsson, since about 2011/12? Anyway, I wish Alexander good luck for his last season.

His ISU PB is 228.97 set at CS Warsaw Cup 2016 and his unofficial PB is 246.56 at Winter Universiade 2017. Alexander Majorov gets ready for his last season Wow, how... shortsighted of them. Guest turquoiseblue
I wonder if the Swedish Olympic Committee knows how many skaters have scored 260 or over in competitions that count towards ISU PBs... ISU Personal Best Scores as of 26.09.2017 Some results from last season: Worlds 2017 Yuzuru HANYU 321.59 Shoma UNO 319.31 Boyang JIN 303.58 Javier FERNANDEZ 301.19 Patrick CHAN 295.16 Nathan CHEN 290.72 Jason BROWN 269.57 Eruos 2017 Javier FERNANDEZ 294.84 Maxim KOVTUN 266.80 4CC 2017 Nathan CHEN 307.46 Yuzuru HANYU 303.71 Shoma UNO 288.05 Patrick CHAN 267.98 Boyang JIN 267.51 How would it be possible for Sasha to reach 260... It's an excuse not to support him and spend money to take him to the Olympics if he gets a spot at Nebelhorn.

If he fails, they can just paint it as "he didn't have that much of a shot anyways since he could not even rank in the top 20." Honestly Sweden, I love you on many things but on this, I is dissappoint...

Honestly Sweden, I love you on many things but on this, I is dissappoint... That's ridiculous. I'm so angry with them. Surely, it's better to be represented at the OG than not? And yeah sure, there are probably TONS of skiers they want to support instead, but how will the sport grow in this cold, dark country with loads of rinks (but maybe not that many year-round ones?) if they don't support what they have?
