We'll probably have to wait a while for the formal announcement.

Lilona
I know that Zhenya WILL LEAVE Eteri for sure bcs today she liked comments on her Insta where fans said that they will always support her even if she will leave Eteri. But Borser for me even now sounds like a dream. But I really want to believe in this dream.

Her current team did a great job with her last season, really (ETA: Except for insisting on keeping that flip in the SP, though maybe in the end it helped her because she didn't get called on it at her Worlds free skate!). Her programmes were perfect for her. JSF just let her PCS sink. But now she's a World medallist, so hopefully the only way now is up. Hopefully. Even if she gets the year and a half treatment from TCC - all total speculation - she might have solid enough basics to stick her performances through all that. We have no idea if she will end up there, though. It's wishful thinking because we know TCC can help her get that 3A and make her skating skills better so she can have more complex programmes. Seems like a good fit. I was gonna say that the Flip in the short didn’t seem to make sense, and I remember Max and Angelo talking about her loosing levels on her spins. The latter is more minor I guess, but considering the field... I agree that her programs were wonderful tho! It’s going to be very interesting to see who actually ends up at TCC. I wonder how done the Boyang deal was — was it a preemtive announcement by the Chinese Fed to try to pressure Orsser or was it practically done? I can’t imagine Zhenya blowing up her life like that without a done deal. Someone should place a journalist outside of TCC and get Brian’s ”No comment”. Formal announcement is reportedly tomorrow - Russian media saying that Ms Medvedeva returns from her holiday 7 May, and will make an announcement alongside her Federation. 3 hours ago, MrPudding said: plot twist yuzu leaves TCC *gasp* x I'm beginning to think this picture needs to be added as an emoji! According to some Russian media, apparently a deal was being negotiated whilst Ms Medvedeva was out for part of the season with her injury - or at least she started exploring her options during her layoff time. I'm not sure how accurate my understanding of those reports are (as I relied on Google Translate) and I'm not sure how reliable those reports themselves are (since inevitably, a sense of that is lost with Google Translate as well). Bear in mind, according to a Spanish documentary re Mr Fernandez and his arrival to TCC, it sounds like things can move pretty quickly - in fact, it sounds like Mr Orser wanted things to move faster than even the Spanish Federation expected back then. And in that same documentary, Mr Orser briefly describes how he got asked to secretly go to Japan, only to find that it was Mr Hanyu asking to go and train with him and Mr Fernandez at TCC - based on the timeline describes, it sounds like things happened quickly, possibly even within a month. Not only that but Orser news has been out for ages and everyone 's quiet about it too. @Huiqi about Wakaba, well it depends. We have no idea what the issue is. We're just sort of speculating it may be due to her high school but who knows. There's also still the open question of Boyang so if he too is going in full time, then I am afraid that yes, the door closes for her.

The injuries last season were terrible. At least coaching changes don't break bones or tear ligaments.
