How amazing these ladies have been. And how great that they could end it in Japan, because nowhere else would they find this audience to cheer them on in Junior field.

Also, it's nice for them to have the Japanese get to know them, because that's where a lot of their future income will be in ice shows etc. I can already see them liking Sasha with her preciousness or Alena's elegance etc.

That was a great fight. Rika landing that 3A combo.

I would have Alena for gold, because her pcs was low IMO. She should have at least 63 . But this event is so good. 6 clean SP, 3 clean FS, only 1 fall, 1 pop and 1 low landing. I dont think senior ladies' event could come close.

Alena is also my favorite and Im very happy for her. Just imagine that at the beginning of this season she hardly got her first assignment and now she's with silver at the JGPF... WOW! She must feel so proud! 

Who would have thought I'd be waking up this early on Saturdays on a regular basis?
