I’m really excited for the junior ladies. It was my first time watching jr gp series and I was already invested in the ladies. So charming and talented.   :tumblr_inline_n18qr5lPWB1qid2nw:

Honestly, considering everything, the Junior ladies are the highlight of this entire season for me until now! So much talent, it's incredible. I've got quite a few now on my list to follow :tumblr_inline_ncmif5EcBB1rpglid:

im really hoping daria does well :7938863: she's my favourite of the eteri girls in the final, she has the best rippon jumps imo :tumblr_inline_n18qr5lPWB1qid2nw:

but there is so much talent between these six girls, the competition should be incredible to watch!!

rooting for mitsuki in the mens, his beautiful, calm skating really caught my eye!! i enjoyed makar's programs a lot too :7938863:

I will catch juniors and senior pairs tomorrow but after that I have appointments that arent movable so I'll miss the men and senior ice dance, which I won't mind too much - should cheer us all up a bit.  Should be able to dip in and out on Friday and Saturday- planned it that way before NHK :animated-smileys-embarrassed-23:

Let's hope the boys can resist the lure of being popstars and they can avoid splatfests, and that no skaters across all disciplines get hurt.

I should try and watch pairs and ID, which I've followed less than singles...but the timing of those events is the worst for me :tumblr_inline_n18qr5AMus1qid2nw:

And hell yeah, Jr ladies will rule the world!!! :hachimaki: (even those who didn't make to the final).

This will be a real test to see who has real nerves of steel among them. Or who's steel is sturdier

Apparently Sasha will have the highest BV, but given that till now she always UR/falled on her quad, the BV cushion might not be there for her (meaning they could end having pretty much the same BV...which is still very very high). Then Rika, but with her it's harder to tell if she can hit all her jumps, so she needs not to lose her focus even if she lands her 3As. And even if she lands all her jumps. (and I know it's impossible, but I'd like a different dress for FS, that pink sugary thing is too princessy for me. Yes, I know it's Satoko's dress. Still, I don't like it one bit).

And wow, we're talking about girls doing quads and 3As. :tumblr_inline_ncmif5EcBB1rpglid: They are really stepping up their game this season (but alas, for them this isn't the oly season, so no need to play it safe)

Sofia has been really consistent, while Nastya, which I love, is the most unpredictable among Eteri's girls....I so like to suffer :tumblr_inline_mn41rkfu9v1qz4rgp:

I think I could like Daria a lot more with a different FS. Her choreo is one I don't really like plus my mind always strays to Caro's SP to that song. It's unfair to compare the interpretation of a junior to that of a veteran, but it happens, so I can't enjoy that fs as, say, Tarakanova's, despite Nastya being unrefined and "wilder" in comparison. It just looks to me that she's more in tune with her program than Daria with hers. And I'm not replaying uncle Voronov's fs in my mind while she skates:P

I guess all the jr ladies here are all getting pretty close pcs, tho for me Alyona could have something more there. And her fully backloaded FS imo is the best in composition among all fully or almost-fully backloaded programs, across junior and senior. It doesn't make me even realize that it's backloaded, for how well the elements are placed and how smoothly she links them :10636614:

For me, Kosto is the revelation of this season. She's already a fully formed skater that could transfer into Seniors, and she has yet another season to go! I have watched her during the last round of CoR and she has improved even more, so knock on wood, she will be able to deliver two performances of that quality in the following days because no matter where she ends up placing, if she skates like that, she'll be introducing herself to the world in a magnificent fashion. And considering how long she has been out and had to work with Dudakov to get those jumps back, just major props for the young lady. And him!

This is going to be a crazy weekend.

I think Alexandra will win. Anastasia is my favourite and I really hope Sofia will do well too. Actually, I hope all of them do well, and I'd love to see that quad fully rotated.

I love Dasha's jumps. Love them! But her programs are my least favorite of the Junior Ladies GPF... :( I just don't like the music choices so I can't appreciate the programs properly.
