So maybe choosing Stephane as a coach is temporary?

Article is about what is written in ISU bio. Nothing new.

It was revealed on the 7th that Rika Kihira (18 = N High Tokyo), who is a figure skating girl who has won the four continents championship for the second time in a row, will study under the 2006 Torino Olympics (Olympic) men's silver medal Stephane Lambiel coach (35).

Coach Mie Hamada's guidance continued, and the names of the two were lined up in the coach section of the International Skating Union (ISU), which was updated today. Before the season, she intended to study under Brian Orser, who coaches Yuzuru Hanyu (ANA) and others, but officials said that due to travel restrictions on the new coronavirus, there was no prospect of going to Canada. .. Kihira is under the guidance of coach Lambiel in Switzerland and will participate in the Grand Prix (GP) Series Round 4 France Cup (November 13-15, Grenoble).

Ah okay, I saw some translation that says Stephane will guide her thru the GP (nothing is said beyond that). Seems like old news then, how do I delete it?

I mentioned the +4 because you said she is capped at +2/+3. The Challenger in the Netherlands was definitely wrong tho.

Anyway, I stand by my opinion that on their own, most of her scores (including GOEs, PCSs) are acceptable. (Most, not all, because some are downright not OK at all)

I don't remember this skate particularly, but I wonder if her spins were that mediocre to get such GOEs? She has very good spins usually. At the end of the day it makes something like 2 missing points in the FP score. Is it the same every time she skates?

Well, Yuzuru Hanyu has the most wonderful spins ever, and has not better scores than Nathan Chen who visibly struggles to maintain Level 4 and inspires pity while holding desperately his leg not to lose balance.

At least in the Ladies field, Rika Kihira has competitors with beautiful spins.

And I would say, to have been at GPF in spite of her injuries last season, which lowered so much her base value, show she is not that underscored. But probably a little.

Well, there is some small possibility that it's only for IdF.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Personally, I don't think that's the case.

Hello, this is Mai Mihara. The Kinki tournament has ended successfully. I was very happy to be able to skate in the match! There are still many regrettable points, so I will do my best to practice one day a day so that I can improve my level steadily for the next game. It's getting colder little by little ☃️ Everyone, please take care of yourself.
