Not sold on Turandot for now, I liked Sui/Han's SP much more  (maybe just a little tired of Turandot)

Ah, people have been complaining about that as well. Saying the back counter entry into an axel is now overrated. And by people, I do not mean the reasonable kind.

LOL. REALLY. I can't really say anything to that but

I wasn't totally sold on this FS by S/H at the start but uh. Such a different impression now. It builds and builds and builds into that final few moments and that lift and

And they're not even hitting their maximum. Fingers crossed for these two because from all the pairs, they have that magic something for me. And this would be some program to skate perfectly on the Olympic ice (after that fab short too).

Those are big shiny medals!  Congratulations to the medalists!

they're just that awesome

Absolutely! Negl watching them makes me teary eyed, maybe perhaps due to the fact that it is a tribute and of course, the old Turandot by Shen/Zhao was such an iconic moment but it works, at least for me. I think they did it justice and they're not overshadowed.

It was a risk but these two are awesome indeed, so knock on wood, come Olympics, we'll have another program to remember!

thank you!

ah fuck i missed most of it

but thank you anyway!

I use Eurosport player, I'm watching that now...

@Fay - sorry I missed your post in the heat of the moment.  Hanratty -  I can't remember now what particular comment set me off.  He makes so many of them and he has some irritating little mannerisms - for example if he  rates a skater he uses the Christian name if he doesn't he uses the surname which I find jarring.  The drawling Scottish accent doesn't help.

Elena's hair... it looks like she was already getting ready for bed lol.

Gorgeous hair though.

I wouldn't mind the Scottish accent per se - I sorta find it cute. But he sets my teeth on edge by what he's saying all the time.

i totally agree with you!!!  simon is ok - he seems more objective in his comments but the dude with the scottish accent pisses me off, not because of the accent but because he's SOOOOO biased!!!
