fair enough, I didn't look at his rotations (guess he's in the same boat as Shoma but with less intense staring then )

I do think technical feats are impressive on their own, I just usually don't enjoy it as a program or consider it worthy of winning over the "complete package" or getting PCs tied to the amount of quads

Petrov didn't really have that much issues with the triples last season, what's happening with him lately?

well, I'll give him credit for landing straight on his butt and then get up to at least try to sell the happy smiley fun choreo right in front of the judges. We've seen other skaters completely give up after less mistakes 

Heh, about Mark's commentary, I have to say, I don't think being coached by Mishin is such a good thing any longer. The programs his students are producing are just not following the evolution of skating. I do feel sorry for Petrov, hopefully this won't affect him in the long-term but tbh, I'd change coaches.
