i thought his salchow looked kinda suspect too... hmm. but i guess those are the scores, and boyang is still wearing gold tonight

Yeah, his 4T in SP was called UR too. This might be the 1st time I saw that many carrots in Boyang's protocol

Don't get me wrong but not really? With the quads and everything needed, plus possible major rules change literally nobody knows where we'll be in 2022 or how well Boyang will be or how much he'll be able to adapt to the new rules and just how many new prodigies from Canada or USA are coming? None of that will change. 

He shouldn't have to rely on the Games being in his home country to get decent judging and heck these aren't even the Games. Sigh.

Well, yes. So cross fingers and pray for the best.  I guess this is where he and Yuzu are similar- both have to rely on super squeaky clean skates. 

 At least seeing the protocols, Vincent did get dinged with 6.75 on a couple of the PCS scores.

Which means, this time it's the technical panel who is high.

On the bright side, this FS works better for Vincent than his R&J. Still empty, the 1st minute is actually the set up for the jumps, but at least the music doesn't over power him. He really need to work on the arm movements. 

 

Just watch Boyang's LP again. The music change is random and didn't link to each other. He is quite slow in 2nd half tho

Just saw Adam's FS. I so love his program but can't help but wonder what Yuzu could do with that music. So delicate, so beautiful.

I started the catching-up by looking at the protocols and... was it really as bad as it looks from protocols? I''m scared to watch now...
