Just saw the protocol. I wonder if the placement of ALL the jumps in the 2nd half is part of the reasons I couldn't enjoy Daria's program. That plus I don't think the program match her at all.

 

And yeah, Tutberidze's recipe seems to work, but if all she is producing are carbon copies of each other, where is that bringing the Ladies branch of FS? Also, what kind of training environment have you created when your student couldn't even muster a smile after winning a competition because she made mistakes in a JUNIOR gp?

That said, what really do I know? 

 

Rika!!!! Gorgeous skate. I loved it. She's so smooth and lovely to watch. And that 3F, wow. 

 

Her dress reminds me of Marin's R+J dress from last season. 

 

Edit: Sorry for my late reactions but I'm only now watching the videos. 

I'm very happy for Rika! I was sure she can make it to the GPF and now she became closer to her goal . Even without 3A she is a very strong skater and nice presence on ice when you always want to see more of her.

And congrats to Daria!!! Please stop blaiming Eteri in everything that her skater feels or shows. Daria is a perfectionist by nature. She was like this for two seasons already. Last season I dont remember her falling. So yes, she was disapointed and surprised a little bit. In addition she usually doesn't really show her emotions. She keeps it all inside. So we dont know what she really thought or felt at that moment. Not everything should be about Eteri....

Yuhana is just so fun to watch. She's a bit slower than some other Japanese girls but she's very expressive and she seems to love being on the ice just interpreting her heart out of the music. I'm going to be keeping an eye on this girl (who loves vegetables). Plus, gutsy combo as last jumping pass. Atta girl!

I read in GS that she had a streak of 17 clean performances? No wonder she was feeling disappointed.
