I'm not so sure about Tokyo Ghoul, we didn't hear anything from Yuzu himself about it, right?
And in recent "Honoo no Taikukai TV" with Zhenya she said that she chose Tokyo Ghoul goods as a present because main character reminds her Yuzu in outward appearance.

You think Zhenia gave her idol anime products that relate to some manga he didn't like as birthday present?

I am sure he read Tokyo Ghoul.

I think it's the other way around? This is just speculation on my part but she probably asked what he's currently reading (he was already doing Kaneki's pose in Skate Canada) and because of that she bought him Tokyo Ghoul themed presents at GPF.

Guuys I just woke up and I think I'm gonna melt because of how hot it is, please give me a reason to push through the day and tell me Yuzu's Chopin did well today too! *crosses fingers*

I'm not sure how often Yuzu watches anime, but I do remember Nobu mentioned both he and Yuzu liked Ojarumaru.

As for YOI, I would think he's seen bits and pieces of it if not at least an episode. Keiji Miyamoto worked on the choreography for the show and he's choreographed exhibition numbers for Yuzu before. I don't know how close they are or how often they communicate outside of shows, but he probably knows Kenji was involved in YOI and that Nobu and Stephane appear in it. I think the fact that he knows people who have worked on it would be enough for him to at least check out a clip, if not an episode or two.

We don't know if he chose it.

And my gut feeling tells me that he has probably seen it. Doesn't mean he likes it or that he watched the whole series.

Yes. My point is, it doesn't mean he doesn't either and I really don't understand why the fact that he does like it or doesn't seems to be so important for most. As if they would be disappointed if he liked YoI ??? :yznotimpressed:

Anyway. My point is that it shouldn't come as an important matter, so I won't comment further or I would contradict myself.

I'm not sure in anything until Yuzu himself said it directly.

IDK, that was my guess initially too. But her explanation in that show surprised me. As if she chose present only because of looks and not because she knew he would like it.
