Aw thank you! I draw an inconsistent range of stuff but I've only recently started drawing Yuzu (I think I prefer realism with him but I wanted to play around with costumes so did a quick semi-anime sketch lol). More to come for sure~

Seriously though, gorgeous. I would not complain at all if he ended up with something similar. I really think he'd look magnificent and more importantly - intimidating - in black. I want it so.

How gorgeous is that costume!  It definitely inspired Chopin, at least the cut of the costume is really similar.

Unfortunately, Johnny wasn't lucky because US Nationals was his only competition in that season so he only wore this beautiful costume once.  He kept his Doctor Zhivago FS for the next season but his costume was different.

That's why I hadn't seen it before (boy, was that painful to watch! Eegads!) I prefer it to his other Dr Z costume, too. What a shame we didn't really get to see it in full flight.

 

(I still can't get over how similar Johnny looked to Yuzu at that age. Well, obvious differences but similar expressions and body language. Ahhh, suteki. )
