My initial thought was that they were trying to emulate his broken zipper at Worlds 2016 hahaha. But it does seem abrupt, and layering something underneath would be very nice as well  Although just sheer sleeves would also be good for me, because I looove the Chopin 1.0 sheer sleeves!

I don't like the idea of the corset nor the detail on the shoulder. 

 

I prefer him to go simple and subtle but majestic. That's all I'm asking...

I really liked the 'imitation' outfits; Tatsuki and Sota's costumes would look great on Yuzu and I was very positively surprised by how cool the male version of Mao's costume looked.

I love the bare shoulder and the flowers.   The corset is a lil too much indeed ...

I think the corset thingy came from waist sash evolution...doesn't mean I support it though. I'm sucker for elaborate sleeves with wrist cuffs, or flowing sleeves with bell-like/kimono finishes, so anything that has one of this is automatically liked by me- I have such low standards
