Yep, I did. :3 It was difficult parting with it, but there was no sense in keeping it when chances of me going are slim.

I applied with only Nagoya numbers and got nothing. I applied a lot. 

FS for NHK still nearly $2k for only S seats.  GPF is probably worse.

Tickets if they were from Australian CoSport, for sure. But now I've seen how affordable they are through the Korean site! 

Flights direct to Korea are expensive but if I were to fly to Japan first and transfer to a local airline save about $500 round trip. Sky logic!

 

I still have literally no money left after NHK though.  And that's without FS ticket!

Getting "affordable" tickets for the Japan comps is difficult...

Hmm if you go for the level A tickets I'd say Olympics > flights (LA to Incheon can be as cheap as $400+ right now).

I'd be happy with a crappy way up the back peanuts cat C SP + cat B FS which is pretty cheap combined. Maybe my point of reference is screwed up from Japanese comps, though.
