Oh great, that really makes things difficult.

So the most viable option is really through the resale sites that charge an arm and a leg for tickets.

Sigh...

Yup! And I’m still trying to find a proxy service that will buy from Ticketcamp. Of course, by the time you request them to buy the tickets they will be gone if they’re at all reasonably priced. :13877886:

OMG I'm late

Please tell me if you find them again. I have Japanese phone number 090

Oh well you can enter the resale lottery then, you lucky thing! I’m out at the moment but the details are in the official GPF website under tickets!

If you sign up for Ticketcamp you can get email alerts for GPF tickets when they come up which is how I found them. :) If you find any extras at a not too ridiculous price I’m sure you’d have no problem offloading then here!

Okay, thank you for the information. Hope there will be more tickets re-selled at reasonable price :tumblr_inline_ncmifaymmi1rpglid:

There will be a second lottery round!

Application period: 6th-12th of October

Unlike the NHK 2nd round lottery, it looks like you can still apply for arena seats!

Yay, good luck! I hope you all get it!

P.S. why can't the travel agency just submit like 100 entries and hope one of them gets it?

They'll only enter by phone and it's one entry per number. I don't think 100 entries will be enough, either. :tumblr_inline_ncmiffG34Z1rpglid:

So each travel agent can only submit on behalf of one person? D:

I think they'd probably have a lot of different numbers in the office but would want to restrict how many they use because I entered for my family as well but they would only submit 2 applications for 2 lots of tickets but not 4 for 4 separate tickets.

Just a question guys -- If you select over-the-counter or pick-up as the mode of delivery,

do they require an ID before they hand you the tickets?

I hope not! But I wouldn't think so. It's all done through a machine, isn't it? If you've gotten as far as putting in your secret code I think that would be enough verification, right?

I was thinking so, and I was also thinking everything will be done via machine, but wasn't sure since I've never done a ticket pick-up in Japan before.

I am going to practice being very bad at understanding Japanese and very good at looking lost and upset just incase.

Still on the topic of GPF, I'm thinking of selling my Arena ticket for Dec 7. I'm already going to Japan the month prior, and then decided (a little too last minute for my tastes tbh) to go to the Olympics in February, so it wouldn't be feasible to make a quick trip to Japan in between. PM if interested.

Though I don't know how I'll pick who gets it. Lottery, perhaps?  who here isn't tired of lotteries just yet?
