May 28, 20224 yr NewHome app for some misterious reason doesn't wanna work for my pc/antivirus combo sob, so I decided to get another 3day trial for jpn standard instead which at least, thankfully, is working as usual, currently should have been my first choice hint for those searching to scroll down the channels in the channels menù: don't do like me, who wasted my time and was starting to be trying to use the keyboard arrows LOL nope, rather, do the scrolling with the mouse/touchpad instead (left click while you are on the channel list and scroll). Yes, it's a basic action, but it actually took me entirely too long to get there cuz I was fixated on using the keyboard so maybe it will still be helpful to someone the only weird thing is that it's scheduling the FaOI slot as 5am-9am when it should be 6am-9.30am CEST... oh well, in the meanwhile
May 28, 20224 yr I plan to watch the show on Asahi Ch 2 on Forjoytv. Is anyone else on here planning to watch it via Forjoytv as well in case I run into any issues, since this is the first time I am using this service? Thanks in advance

I had a huge learning curve to get used to user interface. We can now (in)patiently wait for FaOI!!!! I just got super excited when I say (生) ファンタジー・オン・アイス among the list of scheduled programs

I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to get JapanTV to work yesterday. Apparently, I had installed it previously, but it didn't work then and I ended up using a QQ stream and promptly forgot about it. So this time when I bought the 3 day trial, it wasn't valid because it's not a new account. What's worst, I don't remember what password I used last time and there's no way to reset your password without opening a help ticket. Also, the app crashes most of the time on startup. So I tried NewHome. That was a bit of a challenge too because they don't really have instructions for Windows and the interface is in Japanese. After some trial and error, I got it to work. So hopefully it will keep working this evening! Yes, and all this struggle is definitely worth it if I can see Yuzu performing his heart out on live stream!

No matter how many times you use it, it's different and changed by the time you have to use it again. iSakura worked well for me, but then it went away. MujiTV worked too, but it doesn't have the channels. ForJoy TV and JapanTV keeps crashing for me. It depends on your device, your antivirus, your browser, etc. So many variables. ETA: And keep a couple of QQ streams handy as backup!
