YuzuWinnie, I don't know how good the software you are using for "auto-read and subtitles" is (the YouTube auto sub and other software I use are no good, they have "hearing problems", LOL). I just posted the translation under Translations-> 2026 -> REALIVE in case anyone finds it easier to use that version to translate into another language. Though the translation was initially a machine transcript and translation, Coco-san, a Japanese fan who is fluent in English, was super kind to fix the transcript and check the machine translation to fix errors.

*Machine transcript and translation by @pep_on_ (Wintek), reviewed and revised by @806coco (Japanese fan, fluent in English)* Please credit accordingly if you use this translation for subs or to translate in another language. It helps to keep track of the source :-) 2026.05.17 On May 10, 2026, KHB broadcast a special program titled "Challenge Without Limits" during "Sunday Charge". The Special Program was dedicated to REALIVE and Yuzuru's work and impact in Miyagi. The Special Program was more than 1 hour long and contained 5 parts: (1) Exclusive Interview with Yuzu on REALIVE, the maintenance period and his current thoughts; (2) the "sacred placed" related to Yuzuru with a special visit to Akiu Shrine; (3) Interview with Mone Chiba where they also talk about Yuzuru; (4) Yuzuru's donation to Bell Sunpia Arena in Miyagi and its impact; (5) Interview with Yuzuru about his love for Sendai and Miyagi. Later on, KHB made available a special edited version (~15 min) of the interview with Yuzuru. Below is the translation of that part. This is just the hyperlink that takes you to the official YouTube channel of KHB, so the idea is for anyone watching (and giving views!) to the official video to be able to access the English translation. Perhaps you can add the French translation under the official video as comments too?
-
Good morning/afternoon/evening! 🇺🇸🇬🇧 You can now enjoy an English translation of the 15-min interview with Yuzu posted by KHB on their official YouTube. The translation is posted in a 4-comment thread. Please, give likes to the comments so that the translation gets featured instead of buried by more recent comments. This link should take you to the comment with the first part of the translation, and then the other parts are nested as replies. KHB (local Miyagi channel, not available outside the prefecture) was super nice not only in making the interview portion of the special program available on YouTube, but also added a bit of extra content that was not included in the special program.

After going through a “maintenance period” beginning last August, he completed “notte stellata” in March and “REALIVE” in April. The solitary skater, carrying the determination to “continue seeking an even greater best,” spoke about the present, the past, and the future. In this final fourth installment, he talks about the philosophy by which he continues protecting the course he has chosen for himself. (Interview/Text composition: Hiroaki Yamato) Even while forging ahead on a path no one has walked before, continuing to stay true to oneself is not easy. In today’s world, it’s easy to get swallowed up in the swirl of information and lose sight of what is truly necessary. Even so, he continues preparing himself for everyone who waits eagerly for his performances. NOTES: [1] “赤信号みんなで渡れば…” is an idiom to point to group behavior / pile-ons / herd mentality. [2] This is a reference to single vs B-side in music culture (B side as in cassettes). Single = main track, promoted, expected to stand on its own. B-side (coupling song) = secondary track, often treated as less important or experimental. In Japanese pop culture, B-sides can also include bonus tracks, for fans only tracks.

On the afternoon of March 10, the person standing before me was professional figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu (31). Ahead of the 15th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake, he took part in an individual interview in Sendai City. The moment I saw Hanyu standing by the window, perhaps because it was an opportunity that had come after such a long time, I was enveloped in a tension so strong that my body stiffened.- 65 replies

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! Thanks to everyone who makes this virtual space possible so that we can follow Yuzuru's glorious career as a competitor and as a pro and, at the same time, we can learn about him as an athlete, artist and precious human being. For many more years to come!!!

The program itself might ve change. Yuzu got the costume made for it for his first solo ice show, PROLOGUE. However, he skated to many programs requested by the audience (or selected by him despite the requests, LOL) still wearing that costume.
-
In reality, it wasn't "one show". It was one evening with two different productions: REALIVE (part 1) and PREQUEL Before the WHITE (part 2). Part 2 was a surprise as it ties with ICE STORY 4th "WHITE" so it couldn't be presented in advanced. That's why now you have a REALIVE official website and a PREQUEL official website. Also, that's why Yuzu did SEIMEI at the end if part 1, REALIVE. They are separate. And that's more or less how ot was explained in the interviews and reports (which you can read the translations here in Planet Hanyu, look at the translations tab-> 2026-> REALIVE). Though separate, there are some interesting symbols in part 1 that connect with part 2 (PREQUEL): -Yuzu showed the Mass Destruction back, where the words "death" and "live" are written in cyan and magenta, respectively. These are colors that connect with the story of PREQUEL. -During Otoñal, yellow, magenta and cyan/blue lights are used. Perhaps more intriguing, a sort of shadow with an Hexagon shape is always projected at the centre of the ice. If you noted, the screen has 8 sides, but the shape projected at the end is an irregular hexagon, similar to Kaku.

I’m also looking forward to it myself.” – “REALIVE” Q&A (First Part) (April 12, 2026, 6:05 AM) The solo performance “YUZURU HANYU ‘REALIVE’ an ICE STORY project,” in which professional figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu both performs and serves as executive producer, opened on the 11th at Sekisui Heim Super Arena in his hometown of Miyagi. He captivated a completely full audience of 7,000, with even standing-room-only attendance. After the performance, he announced the holding of the fourth installment of the Ice Story series. Below is the first part of the Q&A. —A solo performance since “Echoes of Life.” After finishing the first day. “I was really tired (laughs). I feel like I had prepared a lot, but after all, continuing to skate by myself like this the whole time is something that, for me, is the first time in a season. So I was nervous, and also, as a first attempt this time, as my solo programs, there are quite a few very dense pieces continuing one after another. Also, it was the first time I did the entire second half without leaving the ice at all, and there were various challenges, but I would be happy if something like a new kind of value for myself could be born from that.” Yuzuru Hanyu: “With a sense of surprise, I wanted to include ‘Otonal’”-- “REALIVE” Q&A (Second Part) (April 12, 2026, 6:03 AM) —While creating the original work for Part 2, “PREQUEL,” was it something where what you had thought since childhood overflowed, or how did the worldview come into being? When writing the original, do you put it down in words like a scriptwriter and show it, or how did you create it? “So, usually with Ice Story, there are basically lines (dialogue), and I write all of those out, and then I write it like, at this line, this kind of scene. But this time, it was all in text, like writing out all of the movements. And as for emotions, rather than being about myself, this is the case for Ice Story in general, but I wrote it while expanding my imagination, like, if this child were to exist, how would they feel, and how would I want them to explore the world. But the feelings at the root are probably the same, and of course the words and scenes that come out are from within myself, so I think they are something that exists within me. But if it were only my own feelings, I feel like it would become something very self-indulgent and small, so I wanted to make it into a story with space where everyone can imagine, and I created it with that in mind.”

Two-time Olympic Champion left competitions after Beijing 2022, but continues sharing his art with the world. Check out what he has been doing in recent years. By Sheila Vieira February 6, 2026, 02:36 GMT-8 Four years ago, one of the most popular figure skaters in history, the Japanese Hanyu Yuzuru, competed for the last time in the Winter Olympic Games. His thousands of fans around the world, including in Brazil, felt a bit orphaned without his unique way of expressing himself on the rink. However, even though Hanyu’s Olympic career came to an end after Beijing 2022, the Japanese skater did not stop skating. Currently 31 years old, he has been producing shows that fill the largest arenas in his country, in addition to charity performances. “I want to cling to hope for my future and enjoy the opportunities that appear,” said Hanyu at the time. First tours and mastery of the craft His first foray into the new venture was a re-edition of his golden performance from PyeongChang 2018 entitled “Seimei,” broadcast on YouTube [note: in reference to SharePractice]. The livestream accumulated more than three million views in one month on the platform. Also in 2022, he launched his saga entitled “Ice Story”, with the presentation “Prologue,” lasting 90 minutes, going through eight skating routines, including quadruple jumps and the triple Axels. In 2023, Hanyu brought the first chapter of the franchise, “Gift,” filling the Tokyo Dome, an arena with a capacity of 55 thousand people, and traveling to other Japanese cities. He was accompanied by an orchestra, other dancers, and a band. The show was later made available on Disney+ [still available worldwide except in Europe]. While many see figure skating as a sport in which athletes lose (physical) performance while still young, Hanyu feels that he is at his peak. “I always thought there was a regression at this age as a skater. But if you look at baseball or football, your 30s are when you start putting everything together: experience, technique. That’s when you master the craft.” [Link to @YUZURUofficial_ twitter post with Echoes of Life edit] Hanyu Yuzuru’s next show is already scheduled for 2026 In the 2023/2024 season came the sequel “Repray Tour”, once again exploring themes such as humanity and technology. The skater added music from the world of video games, bringing new fans to the spectacle. The next chapter was the “Echoes of Life Tour” in 2024/2025, with impressive visual and scenic effects. “In Echoes, we ask about the future and the past. I think the future is much brighter than I expect,” explained the skater. In 2026, Hanyu will present the show “Realive” in two performances, on April 11 and 12, at the Sekisui Heim Super Arena in Rifu, in the region where he was born. [Link to @HANYUYUZURU2624 official YouTube Channel, “Mass Destruction” (P3R) video] Hanyu Yuzuru’s solidarity with the victims of earthquakes in Japan In addition to his professional performances, Hanyu also puts on many charity shows. Since March 2023, the skater has promoted the annual show “Notte Stellata” (Starry Night), honoring the victims of the earthquake that devastated eastern Japan in 2011. This spectacle includes the participation of other stars from the arts and Japanese sports. The 2026 edition will take place on March 7, 8, and 9, in Rifu, at the arena that served as a morgue after the earthquake. At that time, the skater needed to sleep several nights in an evacuation center. “On March 11, 2011, a day of losses for many people, I looked at the sky at dusk and it was beautiful. I think it would be very simplistic to say that I took hope from the stars I saw that night, but I remember how beautiful it was, and that became an important memory for me,” commented Hanyu, about the inspiration for the title. Hanyu also held a charity performance after the earthquake in Noto, in 2024, selling more than 10 thousand tickets and keeping the structure of the spectacle as streamlined as possible to reduce costs and increase fundraising. “I feel that I still have a lot to offer, to move forward.”

Although Yuzuru is not competing, there have been articles and TV programs featuring him.
