I would have expected running press conf by zoom or having a super large glass wall between the stage and audience as if they are sitting in two rooms... or just me And I hope media groups will stand a bit away from Yuzu and will not chase/follow him v closely for interviews in next 2 weeks 😰

It will be GPF19 level of disaster if not worse. This is an excellent analysis from Martina. It's no surprise how biased some of these judges are on the list, we've known since 4CC 2017 about Sasha Martinez, for example. I have a tiny tiny hope things will go better than it did for GPF 2019, because the media attention is incomparably higher at the Olympics than other competition, and they might want to avoid a huuuuge scandal. I'm not very optimistic about the scoring, though, but for now I'll try to focus all my energies to cheer for Yuzu and wish the very best for him. We'll have a lot time to criticise the scores after the competition ends.
January 29, 20224 yr I just saw the news about the positive tests in the Team Russia thread Now I'm super worried about the Team Event because TJ will be next to them, so close together too. Please let the skaters sit further apart for the Team Event. Praying that the mixed zone will not be full of mingling around with others too.
January 29, 20224 yr Once athletes/officials are in the bubble, are they still tested daily? I mean, just being on the plane can spread a bunch of infections which might not show up for a few days... I forget all the testing rules... but if so, then hopefully it will be caught before they can spread it further. And I would think TJ would be wearing their N95s... they know who they're sitting beside, I would think, anyway.

At least all athletes, medias and volunteers (who are in the bubble) have to take every day test. Tokyo did so. Definitely Beijing either.
