I think it'll depend on his ankle. He might go for later ones to maximise post-rehab training time.

While he took three weeks to get ready for Oly, that was with programmes he had ingrained into his mind and body. I'm guessing new for next season, so my guess is later comps

Maybe his decision to recycle programs or not will depend on how much training time he has post-rehab and pre-GPs.. ?

Well, now that Yuzu has reached his old goals and now has new ones, lots will start to change now  He might even get a gold at 4CC someday

(Frankly, I'm excited to see him win a GP gold at anywhere other than NHK. It'll also be easier to see him live, whee <3 )

He may go to a Challenger event first and next ACI is In Toronto area.

It seems that we are already assuming 7-8 months of rehabilitation, but actually we doesn't know anything at all right now. Even about Worlds.

I think we will know more about his condition soon. It is almost certain he is skipping Worlds at this point but we still don't know whether his treatment will prevent him from skating at all or if he can do light activities during rehab (like choreographing a new program maybe). Also, it seems that people assume he needs bed rest or something which is not true. treatment for these kind of injuries usually requires movement so that the joint doesn't lose its flexibility.

I still think that we will be told about the condition of his ankle because he has been so open about it and he knows we are all worried. I don't see him disappearing without a word after all that

On the subject of recycling programs, it's very possible that Yuzu will recycle one of his SP so he won't need to choreograph and learn a completely new routine. However, with 30 seconds having been shaved off of the Free Skate, that would make it VERY difficult to recycle one of those skates, and if he decided to many modifications would have to be made to account for the loss of time. With this in mind, he may find it easier to just choreograph a completely new free skate.
