But the invited singers at faoi always perform a bunch of songs, including group numbers, not just one song. So it'd be even better promo to say "we are touring with a group of skating champions". But they talked about "one skater" specifically (and didn't name drop him)

right, people are speculating they'll sing at FAOI but it doesn't sound like it to me? it sounds like they're talking about their own mini tour and bringing Yuzu as a guest -they only mention one skater-, not the other way around besides, I read once that Yuzu won't be at FaoI 2020 anyway (due to the 2020 olys schedules), isn't that confirmed?

I understand some Italian since i'm a Spanish speaker. They said "We'll be touring WITH the skater" While talking about the NS choreography they mention "the death of the swan" and the interviewer jokingly asks about the "death of the skater?". And then they said "no, the skater is alright" or something. Am I hearing this right? I hope an Italian fanyu will translate it properly. (Don't quote me on this, i only speak spanish lol)

I know, but that shouldn't happen. sigh... In my opinion skaters should have the right to question the judging, asking for transparency is not a synonym of whining...

I recommend everyone to look at this. I just realized how really absurd the point difference in the SP was. Someone on twitter did an accurate rescoring which indicates Yuzuru should've been in the lead. The protocols are posted in the link.

Seriously. I don't expect JSF to stand up for Yuzuru because they never did. But what in the world is stopping the TCC coaching team from speaking up about how terribly underscored he is???? It's been happening for so long... Why won't BO, TW or Briand protest about his lowballed GOE, low PCs and phantom URs? or about the generous scores other federations' skaters are receiving? I mean they do pride themselves on teaching good skating skills (fairly so), those lower SS scores are a disrespect to their work as coaches too. I do not get it. Any other coach would call out the judges and publicly make a statement asking for fairness for their student in this situation.

I'm sure she won't be able to have that position now after the WADA news.

It is maddening that they're portraying NC as the poor underdog when it's the complete opposite. Yuzuru's been more underscored than ever, he's putting up with ISU, RUSFed, USFed and JSF trying to push him out of the sport, and with his fandom and country's expectations. NC has the backing of the most powerful fed, he has no reason to feel pressure since he's be showered with PCs and GOE no matter what he does. and he doesn't have a fandom or his country pressuring him

No. He always got higher PCs for 3x recycled Chopin than he ever did the seasons he debuted Otoñal and Let's go Crazy. Let's Go Crazy is the most difficult SP he's ever done in terms of transitions, his PE and IN were excellent, the composition of the choreography brilliant too, yet this program never got the PCs it deserved- even though it was never recycled. (Even if it were true that judges were "marking him down for recycling", it'd still be completely unfair and against the rules) Please stop blaming Yuzuru when he's clearly not at fault for how underscored he is. He doesn't have the right passport, that's the only explanation.

This is absurd. 22 4Ts, 17 """4Lz"", 5 salchows and flips, 1 4Lo. The current rulebook needs serious change. Why is the BV for 4Lo so relatively low? Regarding 4Lz, either: The jump is easier than what ISU says, so its base value needs to be lowered. OR (what I think): 4Lz is the easiest jump to cheat, which is why so many skaters are getting away with doing heavily pre-rotated, underrotated, wrong edge, full-blade-take-off jumps and unfairly being given full BV for them as if they were actual Lutzes. Since Yuzu has brought 4A into the conversation now, it needs to be said 4A BV is ridiculously low as well.
