Does anyone know anything about tickets for Worlds at Saitama? Like when they'll become available for purchase and difficult it will be for someone not from Japan to get tickets?

I fully intended to go to sleep before midnight tonight but then Daisuke had to go and drop that bomb. it is now quarter until 1 and I am too excite to even consider sleep.

That wouldn't even be a possible earliest. It looks like Dai would only have one GP assignment and it's pretty much impossible to qualify for the GPF with one assignment, regardless of how well you do, so that's not even a possibility. The earliest case would be at Nationals, contingent on if Daisuke wishes to, but based on his announcement that was put out announcing his unretirement it seems like he'll compete in whatever he can.

When it comes to extra slots available at GP assignments, the hosting federation can invite whoever they wish, so for Daisuke to compete at NHK he would just need to be invited, not have to work his way through sectionals and regionals. However, if he wanted to go to Worlds or 4CC, he'd need to compete at nationals and to do that he'd need to go through sectionals and regionals. I now feel bad for the 15 year olds who'll show up and have an Olympic medalist as their competition.

I was thinking this as well. Even if Shoma were to place second at NHK, if Yuzu and Shoma were to both be there, if Shoma gets silver at his other assignment, and face it that kid's got a silver medal curse, he would still qualify for the gpf right? I feel like the JSF cares more about them both getting to the GPF than what placements they get at individual assignments, so long as objective No. 1 is achieved.

I saw a clip from a gala, 2015 gpf I think, and "don't stop me now" was playing and Yuzu did a couple elements to it and now there is nothing I want more than for Yuzu to skate a program to Queen.

I come onto this forum and this is the first thing I see. One of my friend's has a Spotify playlist of songs that remind her of Yuzu and this was like, one of the first songs added to the playlist so it's funny seeing it here.

I much prefer the piano version used during the performance of the program as well, but I also tend to prefer piano versions of songs that originally have lyrics in them so perhaps I'm a bit biased. You could definitely hear the emotion in the live performance of the song from Shinya's playing though.

I mean you're probably not wrong. Yuzu has also cited Johnny Weir as an inspiration, and obviously not just with his skating abilities.

Oh boy I totally forgot about the boobskirt. I also like the black blending on the sleeves and such, but that boobskirt and the rhinestones in whatever that color scheme they used and decided was a good idea. Give that costume to a tailor, remove the boobskirt, take off the rhinestones and voila you'll have a better costume. I feel like Dory is getting such a response now is because it's new. It's been around for what, a month now, while RJ2 has existed for 4 years now.

I really dislike the rhinestones on rj2 and I feel like whoever made it went a little overboard with the illusion mesh fabric. That costume may even be passable to me with the illusion mesh but tearing off all those rhinestones.
