*She uses '方' which is a respectful way to say 'people' that doesn't quite...translate into English. Hm.

I think cause he left out one very major jump element there, plus it still wasn't a complete run through. Plus the difference in his mental state given the pressure of comp.

NHK needs some high marks...if Shoma wins Skate Canada, there will be another round of JSF propaganda...

Honestly, I could care less about the JSF and who they promote.  Japanese fans are pretty knowledgeable anyways about skating, so whatever media says, the public generally know he is the best (cmon look at how publicized his Olympic win was, everyone knows him).  Let Shoma get some media hype, takes the pressure off of Yuzu.  Also fires Yuzu up too. 

 

In regards to the USFS propaganda and stuff, America never really got much FS base anyways.  If they wanna promote Nathan by putting down Yuzu, let them.  Fans that come into the notion that Nathan is the best from the Olympics, will soon learn that Yuzu is the real top dog anyways (To be fair, when I first saw Yuzu at Sochi, I thought he was the best in the world, which I will admit at the time, Patrick definitely was.  But of course Yuzu earned his place anyways).

 

As for federation power, I doubt any could touch Yuzu if he did well at PC.  Anything close to the Sochi scandal with the ladies, will be 10x worse with the amount of international claim Yuzu has (which would be even worse considering he might continue, bringing more heat on the poor (young, excluding Javi and Patrick) skater who actually won)...

I suppose it only really becomes glaring for Yuzu/skating fans who've watched the 'perfect' performances so much they've basically memorised every move (ahem, me). I do think, however, that if he can nail this new program, it will be absolutely incredible - there are these small details where you can see the budding potential and a much more complete program but it's just not happened yet. Early in the season though, so it's okay. I'll just hang onto this 'draft' spliced from his practices lol. 

 

He mentioned somewhere in an interview he needs to do more runthroughs and I agree - individually, he can make everything look incredible but the stamina toll of all spins + 5 quads landed at once is something he needs to get used to. 

That's why I banned myself from watching NHK and GPF 2015 performances through summer. Memories faded a little so I can focus on appreciating new versions of Chopin and Semei more easily. 

Competition has ended and now the most important thing is: Will we see twizzles- 3A- twizzles today???

 I couldn't care about negative stuff nowadays. plus I'm doing my utmost best to avoid anything that can make me feel angry so I don't argue with people again. they don't listen and I waste my time and energy. as Chinese always say (direct translate to English so I'm sorry it sounds weird): I don't get angry when people try to make me. if I do, I've fallen in their traps. 

Now I'm just spreading the love ... the hate comments are minimal anyways (let me drown them in more good comments so no one sees them again XD). An exception is when the comment spread misinformation that harms someone tho...I cannot condone. 

Also, now I'm drawing lots of yuzu... such stress reliever XD
