That would be even more fun, he could ask everybody what they think of sending Pooh to the forest. Hatch a plan.

Plot twist: The ice show is just really a test and those who pass are going with him to send the Pooh to the forest. Only the bravest and bestest can take Pooh back to the forest:peek:

It is a quest! The prince has been chosen, to lead the golden bear back to his home and restore balance to the figure skating judging universe. But who will his faithful companions on this dangerous quest (which will also involve random musical numbers on frozen ponds and lakes) be?

That would be all kinds of awesome.

Okay just to backtrack a little—reflecting on this whole experience, I almost want to laugh at it all cause man, we really thought yuzuru was okay and healthy again like "yES, he's BACK, he recovered in time and although short, his training has probably gone pretty well bc damn he looks great and secure in these practices!!" 💀💀💀I just remember feeling so stupidly excited and relieved especially after his third practice with him throwing that 4T-1Lo-3S-1Lo-3S in front of nathan lmAO a true it's over for you hoes moment. He really had us convinced that his injury had healed (enough to be skating just fine), but finding out he was skating on painkillers and that the pain had only reduced about 20-30% really crushed me in the worst way, and that feeling still lingers till now... I'm praying he's able to recover well without too much struggle! Not bc I want him to get back to competing, but for his own health and wellbeing. Like I honestly lowkey feel guilty for even thinking, "I hope next season we get new programs!" agkjalkjg bc truly truly, whatever we get from now on will be a bonus. I'm not even the one competing and training my my ass off everyday, but god I really felt idk anxiety?? for yuzu especially this past year knowing it was probably close to hell for him a lot of the time. I'm really just so thankful for this entire experience that he's shared with us, and I'm SO happy he's finally found his happiness and satisfaction with this second OGM win! :tumblr_inline_mueoe3Yabh1qdlkyg:

On another note, it feels like this enormous weight has been lifted off my chest knowing yuzu is resting and prob just enjoying his days in total leisure at home in japan, super laxed out with family, and hopefully without any burden or stress or lingering regrets and thoughts or looming worries of next season, next practice, next whatever, tainting his downtime. And since he's finally reached this dream of his, I can imagine that this resting period is probably the first time in years where he could truly just sit back and relax without feeling that constant itch that something still hasn't been finished or done, that the season went by with unsatisfying overall results and things could've been done better... Yes, there's 4A, but I feel like he's okay with letting that wait, and especially with all the post-olympic coverage and media, he doesn't seem to be in a hurry but rather calm and patient for what's to come?? It just seems like he can actually wake up and simply breathe knowing he's done what he wanted to accomplish after all this time, and I'm sure that must feel GREAT, reaching the top of that mountain after a long and hard trek up and just breathing. And now with this ice show he's organizing!! I'm sure we'll be getting even more footage and moments of our bb having fun, which is my fave thing evER :tumblr_inline_mfy92hO4sm1qid2nw:

But! It did get me wondering—so we obviously know that yuzu not only enjoys skating competitively but just genuinely enjoys skating in general to the point that being on land feels "unusual" LOL, so I wonder if whenever he gets a lot of time off, does he eventually reach this point where he gets bored when skating isn't filling his time?? Does he miss the ice or is that time very much appreciated as a resting period that he enjoys as just a resting period bc he knows he'll be back on the ice eventually?? Is there a good balance there?? I know it's yuzu, but I kinda wonder just how far his love for skating extends in this regard, not limited to a competitive sense, especially now that he's reached his biggest dream? It might just be an obvious and simple answer, but I'm curious what you guys think!

(Also I finally got a twitter to officially join the fandom apart from just lurking with my personal account asfsfjka feel free to follow!)
