I literally have chill pills I am bringing with me on my trip.  Muchas gracias to my good friend that is also an acupuncturist .

I wonder if rescue remedy works for humans. :/

May be this secrecy is just his way to built up the kind of excitement that will explode into million sparkly pieces ,right into your face ,like a firework ,you know..when he wins ;)

Kobayashi also said, "This is a very bright news.", which gave me positive feeling

Does it mean they didn't expect him to resume training anytime soon? Sometimes I can't handle any more secrecy, although I understand the logic behind it .

I would recommend not taking the full horse dose, just in case.

OT But tangentially kind of Yuzu-ish, they have actually released warning not to eat those little detergent pods in the US.

That warning I think always existed, the kids just ignored it until they started getting poisoned by it...

Maybe I need a horse-strength sedative for Pyeongchang.

Stress eating for 4 weeks and I’ll need enough for 2 horses.

This is good - softly softly approach, testing the recovering ankle, taking it slowly rather than risking a setback.  The timescale is too tight to risk that. 3 years ago he'd have been flinging himself back onto the ice at the first opportunity and pushing through the injury.

Even if he hadn't been injured I think he'd have been in stealth mode at this point.  That's why TCC is a good environment for him - keeps the media pressure at bay.

It is all great for him.

I suppose we must sacrifice our sanity for the greater good. :13877886:

I used a word "news", but in Japanese she said "This is a very bright 話 (story or topic)." I'm really trying to be patient now, too, but I think it was a good decision not to tell the details to the media (and his rivals ) to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding,

If it brings the greater good I will sacrifice the remains of my mental health for this purpose..

I feel weird because the secrecy and quietness don't really bother me... (Maybe it's a consequence of being a fan of a musician who is a virtual hermit about 350 days a year...)

I'm glad he's in TCC where they happily protect him from all outside interference and I think this will make his comeback even more spectacular.

Yes, it's really nerveracking for us, and I get palpitations only just thinking about the Olympics, but in this case, I like the anticipation. It's like the calm before the storm and  if everything falls into place, a win after all of this would be beyond epic. As befitting the GOAT, I would think.

I'm making a specific provision in my will that I want a wake, and at my wake I want his jump onto the podium played every half an hour.
