My personal opinion is that he's doing runthroughs with 4 quads and runthroughs with 5 quads, and 'working on his stamina' means determining just how much he can sustain. Whatever the case, runthroughs are really the best and he should be doing them a lot in this last week. So that the jumps can enter (again) into pilot mode.

Well, he might be the only male skater to land 5 quads...or even 4 quads, really. Someone like @xeyra has counted all the landed quads vs. planned quads for the season, I think (or I hallucinated it ). There was a margin.

It's either an indication of Brian's expectations (low), or an indication of how much Yuzuru was burning from Kuyashii and evolved into a supersayan that allowed him to regain his top form in the shortest amount of time. In any case, it's great news.

So basically the only jump he will have to concentrate for is the 4Loop. Good that he's taking out the 4Lz then. But I want two +3GOE 4Loops in the Short and the Free then.

No one. I see clean Seimei with 4 or 5 quads going above 225. Assumed everybody else goes clean as well, he'll fly over their heads even without SP advantage. And even in SP, clean he can go 5 to 10 points above everybody else. I guess this is what he aims since he wants to win decisively. (having more than 10 points gap with everybody else, minimum)

I'm sorry, but Brian said that 4Lz isn't good. NOT that Yuzuru will avoid it. That seems like misstranslating to me? Is this correct? The two articles saying that 'Yuzuru will avoid it' don't bring direct translation... I mean, for all we know Yuzu could pull a Sochi and bring 4Lz to his FS even if it's not in good shape... Anyways, although I loooove his 4Lz, I'm okay with whatever layout he will choose to do. I want him to go clean and enjoy his performance. The jumps are relatively important.

There is actually the music topic for this, but I've been recently craving for him to do Listz's Liebestraum... It'd be perfect just like Chopin, that piece has the same softness and yet burning passion in the central passage... something in between Chopin and H&L, actually, in terms of delicacy and difficulty... He'd be like a dream dancing in front of your eyes...

Yup, I like this more. Makes me breathe some fresh air. PC isn't the end of everything. He HAS to stay for another season minimum and has to bring new programs. The only question is... what kind of Yuzuru will we see after PC?
