  1. More Like LGC's older brother... look at him all dark charming. LGC's like the happy don giovanni cousin HAHAHA.
  2. Yes Going back possibly the coming week tho I am hella ready
  3. The only fear I have now is that ACI bullshit scoring might get a repeat with Skate Canada. SC has always been very hard on Yuzuru. I wonder if the US Fed will put so much commitment there as well to form a team counter-Yuzu. Or maybe they just wanted to use ACI to break his spirit at the beginning of the season. In any case, we'll just follow Yuzuru as usual and be by his side.
  4. I think recycling both programs is a brilliant idea. Probably judges haven't seen these two programs enough to correctly judge them, and probably Yuzuru understood this as well. Judges are harsh with him, always have been. It's like his PCS have a cap that somehow he cannot go over 96 in PCS (except H&L 2017). This is not fair, also because people who work a lot less in interpretation, program, skating skills, flow, atmosphere, emotions, receive more or less the same scores by now. So repeating these programs is like Yuzuru telling the judges "Watch closely, this time". And watch closely they will, because the best hasn't come yet.
  5. I liked the comment just because of this
  6. That's actually a pretty plausible layout, too. (except for the 4teu4s part)
  7. I wouldn't say it's physically demanding but the entrance of those long twizzles in Notte Stellata is quite different, he uses his speed and begins them pretty slowly, tighting his body up gradually so that they gradually get faster. It would be impossible to gain such speed from a landing of a jump, because even when you land with speed, you absorb a looot of weight on that landing leg so the fact alone that he does a twizzle out of it (remember his 3A is huge, as big as other's quads) is extremely "impossible" already hahaha! Anyways, I wanted to share a thought that I've had this morning listening to some FS music; in particular, Nathan's SP for next season, la Bohème. It is a very beautiful piece of music, with a very emotional singing voice. I think I've already formulated this thought but it hit me again, Nathan, together with most skaters, picks music that is already largely emotional and expressive, and skates to it. So that people will associate his skating with the expressiveness of the music and will say "Oh! So expressive! So much presentation! 10 PCS". When the fact is, for it to be balance between the skating and the music, the music doesn't have to be more expressive than the skater, it has to be 50/50. The music and the skating have to complete eachother: the music doesn't have to be just a background for the skating, but especially the skating doesn't have to be a background for the music, and I often feel like it is. Whereas with Yuzuru, he picks personal, particular and "strange" music which gives him some colors, and then he adds on and he creates something that's only his, that he could only skate to, because the routine becomes so personalized and perfect, because it has that balance between skating and music, that no one else can modify it (if not Yuzuru himself). Yuzuru would never pick a music like "La Bohème", because that kind of music doesn't give you the space to add on to it. It's already packaged, it's already finished. Yuzuru's FS started with 10 seconds of zero music. And he still skated and it still fit. I challenge any skater to do that. And damn this keeps getting ignored and unnoticed by anyone in the ISU.
  8. Aaaaaaaaaaaaah I am touched!!! I STAN THEM WHOLLY. They also did an impressive job with the timing of each element!! Really, great job!!
  9. Excuse me for quoting only this, but it's quite the contrary, it's pretty superficial to refer to "fashion and clothing" as superficial since there are thousands of people working and living off of that industry, which is a whole world and compared by many people to other Arts like music and poetry. Only because Yuzuru doesn't care about it, it doesn't mean it's not important. Yuzuru can care or not about what he wants. A stylist or a person working their ass off in the fashion industry and truly believing it and loving it might be prettt annoyed by that statement lol.
  10. Imo they should put more than just suits on Yuzuru, I don't think his body and his attitude goes so well with suits - he is beautiful so he will be good in any clothes, but I like his informal attire way more. Like that bombed jacket, was that Armani or Gucci? In any case, where they dressed him there he was truly stunning. Or also the infamous white t-shirt: pure elegance. His body is so small, it's so easy with suits to cover it without highlighting it.
  11. I don't feel watered unless I see him skate, honestly
  12. Uuuuh Boyang at Lombardia Trophy... I might just go there for a day and steal him away??
  13. I think the fact that there is not gonna be any media day this year speaks a lot about the top secret-ness of his jump training and jump layout. He wouldn't show 4Axel during media day, because of strategy. Just like two years ago he didn't show 4Lutz during media day. But two years ago he did an alternative jump layout. Evidently, this year it's impossible. Maybe this year he is focusing less on alternatives and more like "do or die" type of training with the Axel and the Lutz. Or the Lutz and the Flip. Ah, this reminds me that there is a 4Flip that we never saw from this summer... the bitterness
  14. Do you guys wake up some mornings and think that the season beginning in one month is the season Yuzuru will land 4A because I do
  15. I am so going to cry for that 24H TV program thing. Haru yo koi is probably my favourite EX of all time.
  16. How do you guys skate in july, every rink in my region is closed until september
  17. Am I the only one getting hype over 4A having "20% more" landing percentage like, 20% more than WHAT. Was it like 5% before? So now it's 25% landing ability? He lands one in four??? HUH??
  18. Skate Canada and NHK, just like 2015-2016. A good omen for me, surely Yuzuru will feel the same
  19. Guys I bet we will reach 5000 pages before the start of next season. Probably during the Media Day crazyness that will happen in two months
  20. I can't believe I am lucky enough to live in the Era in which the first 4Axel will be landed with positive GOE... and Yuzuru will be the one to do it.
  21. I don't want to choose any of Yuzuru's programs, I love them all too much ;u;
  22. Modern classical is still classical!! I don't think it's good to separate Hope & Legacy from the rest. There's this idea that classical music is only Western, so it's good to fight the prejudice that Asians cannot do classical c: The arrangement is made with a symphonic orchestra so I woud regard it as classical. But yeah I totally agree that Yuzuru should do more classical... I'm begging him for years to do some of the Russians...
  23. I feel like, language barrier aside, Eteri's team might be compatible with Shoma. It would definitely be good for his skating in general (he's always had pretty empty programs, I wouldn't mind for him to do more transitions once in a while), and his training style is very similar to Eteri's. Hours and hours on ice, and lots of runthroughs. But her team's never trained a top men skater, so that's going to be interesting.
