Finally finished reading the translation for Kiss & Cry episode 6. I love how Max and Angelo talk about building a program to a skater's strength and how they emphasize spins on this episode - something most skaters do because it's required but doesn't put emphasis/effort on it (Marin, I love you but get your spin levels dear). I think yuzuangel's graphs were really revealing and as Max and Angelo pointed out - for the top ladies, their BV capabilities are just about the same and building their program to maximise GOEs and strengths are so important. Eteri's team has definitely been able to crack this. Also, kudos to the Kobe team! they are really learning and adapting well to the COP. Both Mai and Kaori's programs play to their strengths to maximise scoring(whether they are being rewarded for it is another thing).

Came across Edea's profile on Yuzuru and wow! Yuzuru is a complete skater: • His jumps are the first thing you notice watching him skate. They are enormous yet precise and despite the extraordinarily length and height he lands them with a light and delicate touch, often with an exit speed that is greater than his take-off speed. • His spins are fast and thanks to his great flexibility, look almost impossible to execute. One of his trademarks is the Biellmann spin. • His steps and fluidity, his amazing ability to glide apparently effortlessly across the ice, gaining speed very quickly means the entire rink can be covered with few steps. But Yuzuru isn’t just about technique; above all it is his ability to interpret, to give emotion through his performance, which leaves the audience transfixed. When skating he bares his soul, abandoning himself to the performance, connecting with his audience and leaving them breathless. It feels like he’s not just skating to the music but creating the music. Indeed, during his performance, as his blades glide gracefully across the ice, Yuzuru is the music.

Let me be a little bit .. Yuzu keeps his old programs and it's a controversy and he is criticised to high heavens. Everyone else decides to go back to old programs as well and nada...

Congrats to Shun, Sena and Mitsuki. Hope Mitsuki gets invited to seniors so he could still fulfill his dream of skating on the same competition with Yuzu.
