I see what you mean about Philip being not very memorable, but I feel there are some pretty memorable Disney princes that stand out, like Aladdin, and also Hercules (although he’s not officially regarded as a Disney Prince)! And yes, he’s always so popular among flower girls!! All of them wanting to hold his hand here hehe And here you can actually hear the girls swooning when he did the heart sign with his arms! Many people on Weibo complaining that they weren’t able to get the watch, and many people also saying they anticipated the mad rush so they already placed their orders at the designated Citizen stores beforehand... I think initially some people weren’t placing their orders at the stores yet because they wanted to be part of the draw for the photos which are only for those who get it from the online pre-sale! I wonder how many watches have been pre-ordered....

I actually have no idea if this costume is indeed Yuzu-inspired or if it’s just a coincidence but well, it might be!! 🥰 (are there any Fanyu kpop idols? We might have found one??)

I know how you feel, I liked The Beast more too! Although, I can’t imagine Yuzu as The Beast/Prince Adam either 😆 For me, I think he would suit Prince Philip (Sleeping Beauty) or Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid), what do you think?

I’m broke, but if you’re really keen on buying you can try the pre-sale by downloading the Wechat app? I think you can make an account from any country, just search 西铁城腕表 to find Citizen and there’ll be a picture of Yuzu and the watch, and there’s a countdown timer to when the pre-sale starts! No idea if they would ship outside China though... I’ve never bought stuff from Taobao before but I know some people who managed to do it... I think if you just do a Google search you might find something? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Looks like there will be a pre-sale through what I believe is the wechat app (not familiar with these apps sorry!) of 127 watches and there will be a draw among these buyers where 7 people will get to win the autographed pictures. Then the official release will be September 30 with 466 watches for the first batch, 488 watches for the second batch on october 26, and 125 watches for the third batch on november 20... but if you add it all together you get 1206... where is the missing watch? 🤔🤔

Hmm, that’s interesting! I’ve never seen anyone translate 龙 as goddess fish, to the best of my knowledge it just means dragon haha. and yes I think the last translation there is a pretty good one!! Omg haha, the heart sign!! I love the watch design, and the box as well!! The box is really fitting the theme of Notte Stellata!! Starry night haha. And if anything I feel like even for some fans who may not be fond of the design, the Yuzu signature at the back may be enough for them to buy the watch hehe 🙈 Yuzu’s handwriting is so cute! I feel like the questions in Chinese from Citizen make it sound like it was a one-on-one date with Yuzu but Yuzu’s responses include words like “everyone” “all the citizen fans” 🙈😝

Yes it is!! I think she’s also the same lady that said this? I can’t find the video where she said 容颜如玉 身姿如松 翩若惊鸿 婉若游龙 though... anyone knows where it is?? (it’s a poetic phrase to describe Yuzu’s beauty and grace but I honestly don’t know how to translate it properly without losing all the meaning...) ETA: found it!!
