    I can't believe I had a hard time narrowing it down to five... I guess his costumes really have grown on me after all :laugh: tbh I'm fully expecting to hate his costumes at the beginning of next season and be all :love: about them by the end of it. I voted: Chopin no.2 - I had to leave out no.1 but both are the absolute best he's had. Perfectly suited to the music and the colors are amazing. Seimei - unusual silhouette, great detailing, again, perfectly suited for the program. Hana ni nare - the sleeves! the flowers! he looks like a prince in this. H&L - the gradient and the sparkles are to die for. LGC (purple) - I love this, I love Extra costumes so much and you have to go all the way if you're skating to Prince.

    This is drawn for kid’s day in Japan (5/5) and it's big yuzu saying that his dream one day is to land a quad axel and he thinks he can do it (from that interview after competition) and little yuzu basically calling him out and saying "but you only just stabilized quad loop now"(hinting that he is too slow in progression haha)and so the big yuzu proceeds to chase him. Anyways, sorry i couldn't find the right moment to introduce myself in the middle of you all's great discussion on techniques, but I believe that I haven't introduce myself properly in this main thread. I was a lurker back in GS and enjoyed all the discussions and updates a lot so I am very happy to have planet hanyu to continue this journey of being a fanyu! Thank you all who set this place up and all the people who kept the discussions going (be it serious or silly~) Thank you for explaining, that's so adorable!! Little yuzu is a mischievous mushroom :laugh: And hello! I was a lurker too but Planet Hanyu is a nice place

    As expected Queen Yuna is leading by a huge margin I won't deny that Satoko has jump issues but she's just sooo polished and lovely on the ice that I don't even pay attention to the jumping lol. Her fs this season completely sold me on her, so I'll be rooting for my tiny queen for the rest of her (hopefully long and healthy) career :love: Yes please, this would be so much easier!

    Adam Rippon's keeping his Arrival of the Birds LP That's good. I like it a lot and, given his track record, I doubt he could come up with something better to replace it. The skater I'm very curious about is Gracie. It really is now or never for her so I hope she chooses well. I like it a lot too, I think he originally wanted to save it for the Olympic season so it all worked out in the end. Idc what Gracie chooses as long as it looks like she's enjoying her music. This season it was very hard to watch her :/

    For the men my only wish is for Adam to qualify... he was the first skater I ever watched and I just want him to be able to end his career on a high note, having gone to the olympics. I actually think Karen has a good shot despite her inconsistency because so far she has been able to skate clean where it counts (holding onto her lead at nationals and then worlds). So I think she can handle the pressure.

    I know I'm the minority here (if not the only one lol) but I actually liked both the seaweed green costume AND the lady screaming in Loco :smile: :rofl: what can I say, I always appreciate commitment to a High Drama program

    Not good. Terrible in fact. Their next available qualifying pair is -Miu Suzaki/Ryuichi Kihara -Narumi Takahashi/Ryo Shibata There's a decent chance of Suto/Boudreau-Audet getting a spot at Nebelhorn but whichever Japanese pair gets chosen to go to the Olympics will definitely finish dead last in the team event. Well, that sucks. There's nothing to be done about them but I still feel bad for S/B because I thought they were lovely at worlds :( I understand there's a variety of factors coming into play here but damn do I wish they could develop a strong pairs program for the next quad.
