  1. I know! I'm dying for Kose to get off their behinds and re-launch our global muse already!
  2. Interesting that the top two franchises originated in Japan (and I'm cheering Hello Kitty on, she's my favorite!) and also that Pooh is bigger than Mickey.
  3. and here I was hoping for fresh Yuzu....
  4. Given the trouble it took me just to find a few things, now I understand why they get upset!
  5. Any indication when these were taken?
  6. We're getting way off topic here, but in my opinion the most important thing for a mother giving birth is that she feel comfortable, happy, and secure...I personally wouldn't need my husband (if i had one) around for that, but I would need to be physically in a location that felt right to me. But as I said, it's an individual choice.
  7. You mean the equivalent of a green card marriage? I think so but the people who pursue that avenue are not usually US citizens but from other places. And it's a two-year process. A This one? In the case I mentioned, I believe the wife opted to stay in the US rather than come home, I can't recall. If it was me I'd be kissing the husband goodbye and telling him not to worry, I'd be fine, and then I'd come on home. But that's me.
  8. I could actually use one, to be honest. Right now I have a cloth mask that ends up crumpled in the bottom of my purse. Something to contain it would be very handy.
  9. CCRA border agents are being super-strict at the land border. Non-essential travel from the US to Canada is prohibited right now and the border people are taking a very very wide interpretation of 'non-essential', going so far as to permit a pregnant Canadian citizen to return here but block entry to her US citizen husband. There's no point in speculating on any of this, guys. The Canadian border is currently sewn up tight until the end of June. Unless you're willing to enter strict quarantine, and that's only for arrivals by air. Don't even bother trying to come by land. As frustrating as it is, we need to give it all another month and then see.
  10. Consensus opinion here is that ACI likely won't take place with any audience in attendance...s o I personally haven't even bothered to look for tickets at all.
  11. That's what I did for the ones i got, but i didn't want to have to do it for every single competition I was looking up...what I wanted was a page with the list of competitions that had only a single link for each competition going directly to the detailed protocol .pdfs with no clicks in between...guess it doesn't exist!
  12. He gave an interview? A new one?
  13. Good question.
  14. Guess that means Gabby is still skating then, if she's at the rink.
  15. It gives me this: http://www.isuresults.com/results/season1920/jgpfra2019/SEG001.htm but I want this: http://www.isuresults.com/results/season1920/fc2020/FSKMSINGLES-----------QUAL000100--_JudgesDetailsperSkater.pdf Which I can't get without getting extremely specific in my search terms Skating Scores has what I want but not for the 2019-20 season. .... .... eventually found the .pdf link on those ISU pages. Urgh. Talk about hidden in plain sight.
  16. Yeah, Boyang sure has a sense of humour. Or maybe he's trying to speak it into existence. (And wouldn't that make things interesting!)
  17. Did you follow those links yourself? They don't give full protocols with the individual judges' scores for each element, just summary scores. The ISU one actually links back to the skater bios. I tried those.
  18. ...and we might have seen it in Montreal....what could have been....
  19. Other skaters do YOLO, but it's really difficult. Yuzu's ability to do so is kind of amazing, his brain must move like lightning.
  20. This is in fact the only relevant question in regards to this topic.
  21. It's hard to find protocols too, you have to Google by specific competition and hope it shows up. Going to the ISU results home page gave me a blank page! Also, planned contents are only what the skaters decide to submit. I'm sure there are definitely skaters who submit the same one every time for convenience's sake while having zero intention of following it. Or who do like Javi at his last Europeans and submit a blank one. @Lunna no offense, but my recollection of his programs is entirely different from that. When I get the chance I'll be verifying it.
  22. Well, I have 4 bedrooms...
  23. What a deal!! You only have to buy a clear file, and they give you a choice of bedding product, up to and including mattresses...
  24. From the protocols (that I could find) and the Planet competition threads*, the GP and national championship jump layouts: Yuzu: SCI SP 4S 3A 4T3T FS 4Lo 4S 3Lz 4T 4Teu3F 3A3T 3A2T NHK SP 4S 3A 4T3T FS 4Lo 4S 3Lz 4T 2T 4T3T 3Aeu3S GPF SP 4S 3A 4Tcombo FS 4Lo 4Lz 3Lz 4S 4Teu3F 3F 4T2T 1A JNats SP 4S 4T3T 3A FS 4Lo 4S 2Lz 4T 4Teu3F 3A 3T (was this a combo? not sure) 3A So Origin 2.0 was different every time, Otonal was different at JNats Nathan: SkAm SP 4Lz 3A 4T3T FS 3Lz3T 4F 4Teu2F 3A 4S 2T 3A2T IdeF SP 4T3T 3A 4F FS 4Lz 3Lz2T 4Teu3F 3A 4S 4T 3A2T GPF SP 4Lz 3A 4T3T FS 4F3T 4Lz 4Teu3S 3A 4S 4T 3Lz3T USNats SP 4F 3A 4T3T FS 4F3T 4S 4Teu3S 3A 3Lo 4T 3F3T Again, SP repeated the layout at SkAm and GPF, FS was different every time To make a long story short, we're both wrong, both skaters alter the layout from competition to competition. And hats off to them, it made me tired just typing these out. * I didn't check these against video of the performances, just trusting the satellites who post these layouts that they're correct.
  25. Yuzu has said in interviews that he'll change his layouts based on ice condition, how he feels physically, and how many points he needs to get aka strategy. The fact that he's able to YOLO jumps to save a program and get more points is proof of this too. To my knowledge Nathan never plays with his jump layout.
