  1. And hopefully China will let us in! Not exactly a guarantee these days for Canadians.
  2. Me too! The world being what it is, there's no way of knowing if it'll happen, but maybe.
  3. Team Men SP is on my 49th birthday. Would be nice to be there, but not sure if I can. We'll see how things go.
  4. I saw that interview on Twitter and I just . How do they even determine how heavy or light the girls should be? Or do they just routinely tell them to lose half a kilo a week just for the hell of it?
  5. Yes, welcome, and a shout to @Geo1 's sharp eyes for spotting that this is your first post.
  6. Jun doing his best to train in Korea https://twitter.com/GeumNa/status/1328689018469371909?s=20 i need COVID to end soon, please. The deaths are bad enough but all the smaller collateral tragedies, like what's happening with skating, are just as painful.
  7. This is perfect. Hats off to the fan who created it. https://twitter.com/4GENLEADERSTXT/status/1327324043595436035?s=20 The song is 'Blue Hour' by TXT (TOMORROW X TOGETHER)
  8. I took the class tonight and although it was way advanced for me, it was still really enjoyable and I managed to get through everything. If @cvdnce decides to do another one, I highly recommend to all.
  9. The thing is, without permanent residency, there's also a limit to how long Gabi can stay in Canada before her visa expires, as well. It's obviously not a good situation.
  10. Waseda announced, then deleted the announcement, published stuff seeming to indicate Yuzu was graduating, then deleted it. Hence why 'Schrodinger's graduation' became a thing - no one was sure.
  11. By the way, I'd like to point out that Yuzu has done it again - ninja'd his graduation past all the fans and media safe and sound. He really has some awesome abilities, outside of skating. I'm sure there's a celebrity or two that'd love to learn his secret ninja skills.
  12. Congratulations Yuzuru on your graduation!! Congratulations Waseda on being so confusing about whether he had graduated or not that we weren't sure and therefore missed it at the time. @snowy Physicist here and while I respect that you feel this way, I disagree with you that those scientists deserve to be put on such a high pedestal. Feynman in particular would have laughed at the idea of his work being 'miraculous'. He would have told you that he was just a curious guy who loved figuring things out. Yuzuru is also just a curious guy who loves figuring things out. The fact that his achievements are in the world of sport doesn't make them any less seminal than similar work in other fields. It's great to admire the giants in any field and be inspired by their work. But it should never go beyond admiration. Quantum theory is the work of human hands just like any other work, and as every single one of those scientists you mentioned would have pointed out, could be very fallible. Reverence isn't called for.
  13. They've proven themselves unendingly flexible in that regard in the past, however Evgenia's already gotten chances like that so for how long will they do it for her?
  14. At this rate, will she even be eligible for RusNats?
  15. Indeed! I've lost count of the number of times I've watched a skater and thought, "They have so much potential. I wonder what it'll be like if they reach it." With Yuzu, you never have to wonder about that because his skating is always dialled to 11, so to speak. Nothing he does ever leaves you thinking he could 'do better'...instead you think, 'How could it possibly get any better than this?!'
  16. Oh that's interesting. I thought he wasn't changing his SP from last year but I guess he decided to.
  17. Wow. That's only a short clip, but it looks like Boyang has really matured as a performer. I'm excited to see his programs.
  18. I would fly all the way to Haneda just to take my photo here, it's so lovely.
  19. I barely count 3 revolutions there. What 4A? Ay caramba! Es loco en la cabeza...
