    It occurred to me when chasing up yet another youtube link (thankee everyone!) and I had a quick look. Taking them all into account, the views on the SC videos for Origin alone - in three days - is probably hitting or near half a million at this point (that fancam with 300,000, the official one with 106,000, the sbs with 74,000... and the rest) and with Otonal and PW must be up near 700000 or more. In 3-4 days.

    That's what I thought, it's like something out of a really creepy movie... but it appears the people around him block any way she can get too close. They are aware, that's crystal clear. But poor Yuzu...

    But it does mean that if the 3A dominate as their fans are wildly proclaiming they will... it could count against them and their successors heading into 2022. Interesting....

    If this is really how Zakaryan's thinking is going, Yuzu's oh-so-polite interview would have given him conniptions. Yes, Japanese love of skating will survive Yuzu's retirement, as long as their people have a fair chance of winning... but if they believe he's left because he simply can't get a fair shake, that WILL turn a lot of fans both there and worldwide away.

    Or maybe they are realising that Nathan and Vincent Zhou (and even, sad to say, Shoma at the minute) will not and cannot life the sport and get the fans/attendance/money, especially when they look at the Russian girls making a bigger splash worldwide. And if they keep taking their biggest star/embodiment of what they keep saying the sport should be for granted... they may lose him.

    This. I shouldn't be surprised if they've approached him, but he only takes a few endorsement deals; as it is, he certainly rakes in more than anyone else in the sport by a mile and he's proven by his donations etc that wealth is not a priority.

    I'll still give it a miss - the one has an annoying voice, the other an annoying face, and that's before we even get to their bias and bitching. However, I'm glad to hear it. So did NBC on the broadcast.... mind you, Yuzu didn't really give anyone much choice but to heap on the praise, did he? "Living well is the best revenge" indeed.....

    It could just be for SC because he MUST have known it was his to lose, and it's been so long and so hard getting it, so the full circle is simply for that cursed struggle. We'll know if a few weeks with NHK.....

    That is beautiful. Yuzu and Javi's team bond, rivalry and friendship is something unique and incredibly special and it's lovely to see it recognised.
