    It sounds like he and his team have thought long and hard, and worked out how to manage the balance of on-ice need and on-ice cost as best they can, but it's a worry. Especially given that Roman, as Canadian national champion, possibly gets better funding than a lot of lower ranking skaters, the rising or even beginning stars. I have to say that - along with quite a few other sports where the financial layout is already sizeable - skating is going to lose people who simply can't afford it. Another reason for Sendai to be grateful to their favourite son, his donation to their rink was perfectly times and I doubt will be the last.

    People are still wondering because [a] we are going stir crazy without any watering of the cactii during the drought and the few drops we have received, he has gone to such pains to hide any clues that we go more crazy. It's going to be a looooong off-season.

    They asked me if I had a preference for another delivery system and if not, they would monitor and try again when the situation changes, I was happy with that. I may have to wait, yes, but in the scheme of things it's not a big problem....

    You may find it difficult depending on where you are, I ordered the Satomi costume book from CD Japan, they sent it but then I got a terribly apologetic email saying it had been returned to them (border problems wit COVID, damn you!) and they are trying to work out when and how they can resend it....

    They are going to need him if this season is messed up as much as it looks like it's going to be. Oh, and I love how, when I used google translate on that Russian article, it brought up a subtitle for one of the pictures as "The face of the child and the soul of a samurai" and later mention "this half-human demigod" Google loves him too.....

    The first two GPs are America and Canada, right? Can't see either country opening the borders very much for international sporting events, especially if their own national ones ones are still struggling to get going. I don't think we will get a media day this year, when's the latest we can hear about his programs?

    Now two of the JGP series have been cancelled, I can't see the series going ahead. The senior GP and others like the ACI.... hard to say.

    Requiem??? Oh...... I adore it, even though I have yet to watch the 2016 Boston performance without getting that teary catch in the back of the throat - even before I knew about his health problems and fear of not skating again. The emotional punch of Requiem as a whole is something few skaters could ever reach and also control the way he does.
