  1. Imo... Yuzu is a phenomenon... A once in forever skater not just a generational skater or even once in a lifetime skater ... I would never have thought that an athlete would touch my heart and speak to my soul through his performance. He is a very special and God gifted individual... a true artist and gentle soul. He truly has nothing to prove to anyone as we recognize that he embodies the perfect essence of figure skating.
  2. Scott Hamilton has had many treatments for cancer. I know our patients often complain of 'chemotherapy brain'. However, in Scott's case, he is just being crass and trashy, not a good look for anyone. I do like Nathan as a person as he is more gracious and I have never heard him trash talk his competitors. He could teach Scott a thing or two about class. .
  3. [Admin edit: moved from translations thread, in response to this] The judging was a hot mess and I am glad Max called out the blind judge who demonstrated such poor judgement! there needs to be review/audit of the judging when there are such discrepancies
  4. He is so talented and adorable...people with eyes, hearts and souls are going to fall for him
  5. I think he said that he thought they were cheering for him....so he was wondering why at the end of a near perfect skate...there was so little applause! After, Plushy withdrew.....the Polish or was it Czech commentator said that the Russians clapped for Yuzuru in the Mens SP single event but noted they were only clapping for their own countrymen/countrywomen. So Yuzu impressed them with his WR SP!!
  6. no guarantees that that will be the final selling price...may need several organs!!
  7. thank u Fay! Similar to when Yuzu thought he was being cheered in the team event Sochi and wondered at the sparse applause at the end of the skate
  8. Yuzu is the epitome of grace and graciousness! He is like a Southern belle!
  9. What camera.....I need your camera. lol
  10. I am only concerned that Yuzu looks pale and thinner in that video. doesnt the camera add 10 lbs?
  11. such passion and expressiveness in his skating....heart and soul!! IMO...not noodly at all....very graceful and elegant not only at such a young age...but at any age
  12. That would be more fair...one hopes..although the Japanese judge (at least in the Olympics) was fair...the US judge..NOT
  13. I love Believe too, one of my favourite exhibitons
  14. glad to know that I am not the only one to cry from the beauty of watching him skate. Watching archived performances!! One commentator called him 'God gifted'....yes, the power to move people is a very rare and precious gift
  15. I just want him to be healthy and to enjoy good health in retirement.
  16. I have to abstain from voting because I love more than 2: Seimei All versions of Chopin Believe Notte Stellata Requiem PW H+L LGC RJ1 I know pretty much all his skates after he joined TCC and his 2012 LP.
  17. Amazing comments from Dick Button!!
  18. I think Fanyus are so 'intense' because we have grown to love and admire Yuzuru the person, not just the athlete. He truly seems to represent the best of his generation and what 'grandma/grandpa, auntie/uncle, brother/sister or buddy could resist that ?
  19. Lindsey Vonn was also Tiger's GF for a while so that is how my husband knows her name. Tiger fans my husband's age don't use twitter or social media much Lindsey also has a line of clothing with Under Armour...way too expensive IMO
  20. well, there are a lot of Golf Tiger Woods fans for sure but I dont know if they use twitter.
  21. I am disappointed in Johnny Weir...you can commentate and appreciate Nathan's skate without mentioning Yuzu( who is injured and in recovery) in such a negative way. I hope Yuzu is not hurt by his comments. lol....who am I kidding? I think this is backstabbing pure and simple. With love like this, who needs enemies
  22. Hello, Holina:

I looked at ACI and noticed that over the last few years...it is held twice at the same place.

If that holds true, it will be Oakville again

  23. When an athletic performance moves audiences to tears... U have witnessed great artistry
  24. I found this uncut interview post PC Oly: does anyone know if the Japanese part has been translated already? If not, would anyone kindly consider to translate ? Thank you in advance to one and all translators who have helped us to understand and to appreciate Yuzuru, the man, the skater, and the living legend!
