  1. Yeah, unfair to Madeline... and unwise too, probably. Eh. If they wanted follow Nationals, Roman should go too.
  2. Tbh, I'm so over this 'ISU made him doubt himself'. A perfectionist like Yuzu ia very rarely satisfied with himself (I really know something about that...) and that interwiew isn't really that bad like people made it to be, it's rather normal... imo ofc, but yeah, what do you expect after two bad (for his own standard) competitions. That doesn't mean I'm denying he may need help sometime (who doesn't), but I saw so many people overreatcting about that onterview...
  3. You never know...He would definitely be more subtle, but I don't doubt that he is capable of sticking it just right
  4. It won't be easy for Yuma and Shun both in serious (if Yuzu still skates). But the Japanese senior field wasn't that strong for a while, since at least 2013-14, probably earlier...
  5. Yeah, hard to believe that was 6 years ago and so much have happened since then...
  6. Oh no, I liked them so much ;;;;
  7. The proposals are only for singles and pairs
  8. Junior Worlds entries are out http://www.isuresults.com/events/fsevent03111967.htm China is sending only their pairs, I wonder why... It's gonna be very interesting battle for places and spots. It would be great if both Japanese and Korean ladies could get 3 spots for next year, but it will be tough...
  9. Those look very small for quads... especially "4Lo"... Well we will see, after all the girls are left with almost no choice if they want to fight for the podium...
  10. Jun should be on this photo
  11. Wow, somehow I still have a chance for predictions bronze
  12. Seems like RusFed will be announcing jr worlds team officially only after Cup Final. But they usually are going with top 3 (eligible) at Nationals, and that would mean Ksenia can maybe not go, because she lost to three Eteri girls... sigh. Ladies at this event were crazy. It kinda hurts that Valieva's and Akatieva's 4T (both landed two) were scored almost the same, since Kamila's are real quads, and Sofia has long way to go imo... At the same event two other girls attempted quads (Khromykh's 4S would be impressive if she landed it, that's a big jump), Samodelkina landed three 3As, not her best but still. Personally I really loved redhead Osokina here, she probably doesn't have very high chances for JGP in this crowd, but she was wonderful.
  13. I don't know - I actually think they are very good, improved even from the beginning of this season, nice flow and edges, it wasn't there when I watched JGP. Can't judge any dance elements so here I have no idea. I personally don't see a very big difference between them and other two Russian teams. Generally, all of them are scored generously, but that's not new. Yeah, Nguyen/Kolesnik and Kazakova/Reviya are better than any of them. Well in any case that's my opinion, but no, they are not in 3rd place because she's Eteri's daughter. They deserve to be top 4, and because they didn't make mistakes, they now are in a good position for a medal.
  14. They also skated good all season and qualified to JGPF, so it's not surprising... They would be behind Khudaiberdieva/Filatov still for sure, but he fell on the twizzles and they lost massive amount of points...
  15. Russian Jr Nationals are being held right now in Saransk - you can watch (and rewatch) everything with Ted's commentary at Channel 1 youtube. Here's ladies SP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPdd4ZZxPYM Kamila Valieva is in the lead with 78+ and that really was her best all season imo... Anyway, from 18 skaters, only one scored below 60 (scary and crazy lol). There were only two falls, both by the same skater. Sadly, one of the very few mistakes was Kseniia's, who is only 11th after a step out ;;;; Only 4 ladies above her are age eligible though, so assuming Kamila and Daria are a lock for Jr Worlds, she must beat Khromykh and Frolova. She's 3 points behind, so I hope she can do it. I also watched most of boys, Gummenik is in the lead and Samsonov 2nd, Mozalev bombed, they underscored little Kutovoi... Also, Eteri has a boy even smaller than Daniil, who is eligible for next year's JGP and skated to... Black Betty
  16. I'm just saying, if you read communications from other years, that is exactly the same. Always only one challanger is guaranteed in North America, but every year we have both ACI (in Canada) and US Classic (in USA). So yeah, it's not guaranteed, but it literally never was. And btw, ACI is always held in Canada, challanger in USA is called US Classic International - maybe I'm wrong but from your post it seems like you think that ACI can be held somewhere else... no, it's Skate Canada's competition, it can be in Canada or nowhere at all.
  17. Tbh, "the core group of five" includes "one event in Canada or the United States" every year, but also every year both ACI and US Classic are held. Note that Challanger Series is always 9-10 events, and only 5 are mentioned here. So, no reason for drama, I'm pretty sure both ACI and US Classic will be held in 2020 too. Unless one of the country doesn't want to organise a challenger, but that's unlikely.
  18. And isn't it what we all want to do when he has a hard time? Hug and tell him how incredible he is
  19. Katia about Yuzu. Can't believe how direct and brave she was
  20. I thought he doesn't consider skating to LGC because of the copyright that expired, and is probably not worth to be renewed for him? Plus, it never was his favourite program.
  21. I was actually checking yesterday especially for Dasa and was so disappointed... she is on the list for Sofia Trophy too, but probably she had the biggest chance at competition in Slovenia...
  22. I think by now they had to somehow confirmed it or wouldn't feature it every news? Unless Yuzu is the ultimate troll and he is laughing so hard right now...
  23. ok, so I guess we have to wait for tomorrow's 'confession'... oh my how am I gonna pay attention at work
  24. Hm is it over? they talk about Tokyo marathon now...
  25. Tbh I'm excited for this. The only annoying thing will be all those complainers who will point out about how he recycles again. But who cares, really, can't wait for new Chopin and Seimei!
