This can only apply to ordinary ppl who do sports to improve health w no bad impact to their bodies, and can rest at will to heal when they are injured or tired. Athletes are forced to compete even under injuries (minor or major, visible or invisible) and fatigue. They cant wait to heal properly even if in theory they can heal faster than others. So i dont think its comparable and we need specific research on athletes to examine age and stamina. It will even vary in different sports too. One thing i see thou is many elite athletes suffer bad post-injury illness at their old age and dont live as well as ordinary ppl who got healthy diet and lifestyle.

Their ways are easy to figure out. Nathan's is to do little TR and Russian girls' is to do LOTS of RT, that's it. But one thing I have to emphasize first is, they are YOUNG. Name ONE skater that lands quads consistently at Yuzu's age, there's no one, ever. What Yuzu has to figure out, is not only some "tricks" to land the jumps, but more importantly, he also has to fight against his stamina (decreasing with age) and risk of injuries (increasing with age) to do smt no one has ever done. I don't think he can find answer on those young skaters, yet he still needs to watch everyone to figure out his own path.

I'm sure Yuzu is more confident and knows well about himself than anyone. It's just he's a perfectionist. About judges, i believe yuzu knows more than fans how they work. So putting fans' wish aside, I would just believe in his calculation.

Yeah I checked through Plushenko too and his consistency on the podium (given his incredibly long career) is so impressive. GP series started since 1995 but SC and NHK started around 1970s, there were other non-GP comps around that time too. I'm not sure about big names then (except Katarina Witt, Brian Orser lol), but even they still finished off podium sometimes. To never finish off podium now is unimaginable thou, the field is just too deep, so your career is either very short or you only compete in small comps to be never off podium. Medvedeva could've achieved that feat if she'd retired after PC (only ISU comps counted ofc), but she continued and you see how hard it is to stay competitive. It's impossible to just YOLO to Worlds/Olympic like Yuna after Vancouver. Thou Trusova is kinda potential, let's see how she's doing. Btw how do you guys feel about the depth of current ladies and men's field compared to the past. I'm not talking about how skating evolved, just relative results of skaters. I would say ladies field is 100x deeper now compared to Caro-Yuna-Mao era. Men's doesn't increase that much. The last quad (2014-2018) was deeper than now, we might need a few more years for young talents to go senior.

I just know the hydroblade into 3A, soooooo coool . This is so crazily difficult as his hydroblade here was very low with big ice coverage and most importantly, in the opposite direction to his 3A (clockwise hydroblade STRAIGHT into counterclockwise 3A, can understand why he fell). I think it is even harder than his usual back counter entry. Don't know if he ever landed 3A with this entry? I reallyyyy want to see.
