  1. @Hydroblade @MrPudding Guys, this is totally the quality content I signed up for, you're doing it right.
  2. That's perfectly okay, but seriously, check out that blog I mentioned. It's got so much stuff, and loads and loads of Yuzu gifs.
  3. @cinemacoconut: That was in reply to you when you asked about the 4F and Yuzu a while earlier. Perhaps now you could consider going to the source I pointed you towards back then, after answering the question you're again asking now?
  4. I think we can, at this point, be quite confident that Yuzu has in fact landed the 4A and Brian has seen it. Because we've seen just how stingy they are with speculative news and ifs and coulds and maybes. If Brian is saying Yuzu could do it, he's seen it done. I would eat my umbrella if he hasn't done it yet.
  5. Oh yes, once he has his skate, his doughnut spin is great. And that way of catching his skate, it's just how he's been doing since his junior days. The not-quit-doughnut could be a macaron - slightly curved, but not round. I love his broken leg spin. It must take a lot of strength to hold that position, too.
  6. Oh yes, it looks all smooth and effortless but holy shit, it's incredibly difficult. I tried on land. I shall not be trying again because I like being able to walk without yelping. And this might be a little sacrilegious, but I prefer how Plushy grabs his skate for the doughnut spin. Yuzu dips down a little to get it and then pulls it straight. Plushy just reaches back at the perfect height and grabs his skate, without that slight butt sticking up moment.
  7. His skate over the head spin is now not quite over the head. Is he not as flexible as he used to be? I was wondering if that ankle has been bothering him since the injury before this last one, for the last two seasons he's not been pulling it over his head like he used to.
  8. When you really see just how difficult that programme is! Alien. Unbelievable. Is he really for real real?
  9. I'd agree with offering input about technique and so on to neutrals, or people who are just getting into figure skating. Because otherwise, the ones who shout the loudest are the antis and as long as their nonsense is not countered with information, the nonsense will stick in a casual's mind as fact. That's how fake news works. But I'd also say never @ the antis for anything, that's giving them attention and legitimacy, too.
  10. H&L is Hope and Legacy, his free skate from last season. The Worlds 2017 free skate, the current world record free skate is Helsinki H&L because it was held there. CoR is Cup of Russia, the GP event held in Russia, same as Rostelecom. And the ACI Seimei gloves was also a thing. When he was pulling it on by the side of the rink, he looked puzzled, frowned, tried again. Then he looked at the audience - death stare, we assumed he was looking at Mama Hanyu - and showed his hand. He had ended up at the venue with two gloves for the same hand. If you go to the ACI thread, in event discussion, you'll find fancams of that.
  11. You survived it, started the Swan Invasion in earnest AND didn't kidnap him. Total win.
  12. It is a quest! The prince has been chosen, to lead the golden bear back to his home and restore balance to the figure skating judging universe. But who will his faithful companions on this dangerous quest (which will also involve random musical numbers on frozen ponds and lakes) be? That would be all kinds of awesome.
  13. That competition was the quintessential Yuzu experience, wasn't it? Injury-no training for a week-world record SP-pop concert free skate-Canadian silver.
  14. That would be even more fun, he could ask everybody what they think of sending Pooh to the forest. Hatch a plan.
  15. He also does not actually shut up very often, so this should be fun.
  16. So accurate. I'd be the bawling brawler. Or the brawling bawler.
  17. Yes to all of that, and how could I forget our purple overlord! The 4Lo-face. I just realized that those are actually the ones (along with a 3A compilation and a silly video of him) that I keep on my phone's limited storage.
  18. Often both at the same time. Thank heavens for our support planet.
  19. The embarrassment potential is definitely real, but the riches are going to all the magazines.
  20. Do I want to be known as the leaky-faced brawler forevermore? I'm not too sure I want to be that honest. What has the Overlord done.
  21. I don't think he lurks here, but I do wonder now if he did, what would he think of me? The leaky-faced brawler? ETA I'm saving that one for a username when the Planet lets us change username, anybody who wants it (why would you, are you nuts) can fight me. I'll cry but I'll punch harder.
  22. *strangled sound* This should come with a warning of some sort. Like danger, potent, imminent death, that type of thing.
  23. Though, seriously, ACI Seimei is also a must-see for a totally different wtf Yuzu experience.
  24. The thing is... All videos turn out to be must sees. But if by noob you mean total, total noob, I'd say... 2011 COR, 2012 Worlds, Sochi PW, NHK and GPF Seimei, Helsinki H&L, ACI 2017 Chopin, 2018 Olys. I mean, watch everything, everything's wonderful, and I'm not hoping for another POTO as might be obvious, but those are the competition skates I go back to more than any others. They're all definitely must-sees, but then, everything is a must-see! Ghana CM making, for instance. Definitely must-see. Random quad battles. 2017 CoR gala. All in all, just prepare to .
  25. He'd be scared off in about two minutes. I remember a biting Pooh conversation.
