    Yes, but they only get a pair of used boots, not an apartment. Maybe the old woman who lived in a shoe decided on an upgrade. I mean, if they really wanted something as part of Beijing 2022 promotions, wouldn't it make more sense to approach Yuzu's team directly and arrange a sale for something more exciting than boots he hasn't been using for years? For this kind of money?!

    This is getting pretty insane. Maybe they need stricter checking for big bids? Did somebody hack their email used for the approvals and just go ahead and approve bogus bids?

    I don't know, do you think they're trying to get his DNA and clone him? But they said these bids are verified, so... Unless somebody managed to find a loophole, this is pretty mindboggling.

    We had this happen around 2000 too. The page count started going down for members, but it hit for Hydro. We almost hit 2000 for a good while before we actually did.

    Have they really made it perfectly clear that Yuzuru will NOT be coming with the boots? I mean, the photo could be considered a little misleading, he is holding them.

    I was watching that feet-focused video of Chopin and, hot damn, boy does turns all over the place for fun. What even is this alien overlord. ETA: So he basically took a break from recovering from injury to, oh, I dunno, just defend his Olympic gold medal. Again. What even is this ExtraTM alien overlord.

    All kinds of Western media, usually. Yuzuri, Yazuru, Hanro... But Yuzuki also has a slightly different history. It involves Yuzu doing partof an ice show wearin a skirt, his female alter ego, a potential twin, and much more. It did all kind of make sense at the time.

    Oh there we go, I'm not done with the crying even if it's been weeks since the Olympics. I can't wait to die by Yuzu's 4A!

    I missed the explosion while I did stupid things like sleeping. Must go back and catch up. But did he really say two weeks of treatment and three months of rehab? Because that is.... Way way way better than my fears, like, galaxies away from my fears, and if that's all it will take to get him healthy, difficult though I know it will be, I can cut my worrying down to regular levels and look forward to his comeback again! New programmes! He'll have loads of ideas!

    I know. Or we could make Pooh art with all the hair we're losing thanks to him, use our tears as a base to make pigments to enhance it, and then make a banner out of that. I should never be in charge of any fan projects.

    No. Just, no. No. Bright side, if he's actually talking about 'if possible' about Worlds after in-depth conversation with doctors after everybody explained everything to him, it means he should be fit for GP series, right?

    Maybe when the final guidelines and rules get published, they won't be so silly. I mean, seriously! I get the annoyance with backloading. There are only a few skaters with programmes that make it look good. So make a small change, that not more than four baclkoaded jumping passes will get the bonus. For the transitions, make it clear that complex transitions executed with quality will be rewarded with high TR score. The snippets we've got so far make no real sense.

    So far, it doesn't specify that they're talking about the before solo jump part, does it? They still define that as 'steps'? I think they're talking about between jumps, the TR score, not the GOE for the jumps. Though who knows what they're actually doing, I might be completely wrong.

    But the US ladies don't really have the jumps either right now, so... (One of the juniors at Worlds this time can do about a million 3Ts in a row but they're all tanoed and muscled. Is there an anti-tano guideline, too?)

    Lighthearted 'jokes' have a way of revealing more than you intend about what you actually think. If this is so annoying to us, I wonder how Yuzu must feel. Or Brian. Or, hell, Eteri, because transitions and consistency are the two things her skaters really have going for them. Or skaters who have been working to improve SS and TR (as they used to be defined), like Boyang. Call it Figure Jumping Competition With Some Spins and a Step Sequence.

    On the other hand, 4A might be the one jump even Yuzu would find difficult to do from actual transitions, so... Yay?
