  1. That's exciting~ new boots and blades make a world of a difference!
  2. Yeah, it's her worse jump? Also Zhenya's...(but Zhenya has tried 4S). Alina's jumps remind me of Mai Mihara's sometimes. Really solid but not that much height. I don't think she can land a quad, but she could try it.
  3. @kaeryth does a good job archiving things here:
  4. Geez, I have NO idea what's happening but I really hope both her and Tarakanova are okay. And Eteri's junior are okay too. Sounds like there's a lot going on behind the scenes that we don't know (and maybe never will). Makes it really hard to defend Eteri, tbh.
  5. Wow, congrats! you're brave. I'm not good with striking up small talk so I would have no idea what to do in your case! Probably just wished I did
  6. I know that being at CSKA has its advantages, politically and $$-wise. But it just seems like all these skaters are stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to coaching. Don't know what's really happening but it seems a bit sad. I guess to them it's better to be #5 or #6 in Buyanova's group than #1 with a nameless coach. Or #2 with Eteri, apparently.
  7. So Eteri's only ladies senior skater is Alina? And Elizabet Tursynbaeva. Who woulda known.... Hoping all the best for them both. And that Eteri lets poor Alina rest and doesn't use her as personal revenge. Now Buyanova has Sotskova, Radionova, and Tsurskaya? And now Panenkova? Am I missing anyone? So weird.
  8. Yeah, I don't get it. There's more, if you click on the tweet.
  9. the suspects caught on camera: https://twitter.com/ntvru/status/1020007293864247296 hopefully they will be arrested soon. so they cannot hurt anyone else or take another innocent life
  10. I'm so shocked, I still cannot believe it is real. I can't believe it. I had the pleasure of watching him skate at Worlds 2017 and then at the Olympics. I always wanted to visit Almaty and see his ice show, which I could tell he poured his heart and soul into. He was only 25 and had already given so much to the world and was planning to do so much more. Denis Ten was always a gracious person to his fans and the skating community. And now he is gone. He will always be remembered, for all that he's done for the skating community and for his country. I hope he was able to feel how much his fans loved him. Rest in peace.
  11. Oh, why not? It depends on how she is feeling, and she's had some time to rethink things. Not a lot of time, but a decent amount. Someone posted on twitter that Gracie has her 3-3 back!
  12. He really likes to destroy things (and people...and records....) doesn't he...
  13. I love the building in the second half, starting right before the spiral sequence. Kaori has so much potential.
