The part about leaving 4Lz and 4Lo is from the interview with Ghilsan. The injury part isn't an official statement, it was Kozuka Takahiko's view. He said he's not sure about complete recovery, but if it's a serious injury, 1-2 weeks of rest is a must. I doubt we'll have an official statement from team cricket for a while...

My Japanese is not good enough yet, but what I gathered from this tweet was that: Brian (Orser) was contacted and initially they agreed to leave out 4Lz and 4Lo in the competition. Mentioned the doctor's advice after Yuzu went to the hospital. I think they mentioned that it's similar to dislocating your shoulder, that it's easier to sprain your ankle after you've sprained it before. 1-2 weeks of rest is a must.

Me too...but it made those last minute of Yuzu laughter so much more previous... The Yuzu quote at the end of the video is "Effort may lie to you, but effort is never wasted". Hoping to see Yuzu have his 10-fold, 20-fold happiness at Pyeongchang.

I actually teared up a little when reading this, thank you!!...it resonates so much with our feelings of hope and support for Yuzu...=')

I know Yuzu is not sad, and is taking care of himself, but I really want to roll him up like a sushi roll: All the physical and mental stress he's dealt with must be unimaginable for most of us. If only we can pamper him like a little sushi roll

Respect! It's a good thing that each generation surpasses the previous, and I admire Plushenko for openly embracing it rather than feel bitter about it. Just because the sport is evolving, it doesn't mean the history is erased, and Plushenko's legacy is still there. Ha! Yuzu always prove his skeptics wrong! This reminds me of the interview at TCC earlier this year when Yuzu said his strength was everything! Indeed he is! People say "Jack of all trade, master of none". I say Yuzu is "Jack of all trade, Master of tons"! Yes, there are other skaters who might be a little better than Yuzu in terms of individual elements, but when you look at the big picture, Yuzu is the "Jack of all trade, surpassed by none"!

This reminds me of this blog post from Rostelecom Cup. Sad, but so true... Since this is the general Yuzuru chat, I shall say that Yuzu's ability to transform kuyashii into motivation is a very unique strength of his. With so much pressure, unfair judging, media scrutiny, Yuzu is still standing. Maybe he has felt defeated, maybe he has thought of quitting, but he didn't, and he's still fighting!
