Hmm, I'm not sure how accurate the translation is since it's a translation of a translation of a translation of a translation (Nathan's English response -> Russian article -> Japanese article -> Iron Klaus translation). I find it strange that it sounds like it's Nathan's first time feeling this way. Did he not feel it when he won 4CC last season? And I'll just that "won decisively" as an inaccurate translation somewhere along the lines. I do feel a little bad for him though. I'm fairly certain Yuzu is the GOAT (and maybe a goat) and the color of his medals won't change people's perception of him. Perhaps Yuzu felt something similar when he won his first Japan Nationals against Takahashi. It is indeed possible. But dear Yuzu, I know you admire Plushenko. You had his mushroom haircut and aspired to become a skater like him. But no, you don't need to follow him in terms of the amount of injuries you have to get through....T_T

I'm late to the party, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY YUZU!!!!! It's actually 1am here but.... No words can describe what you've given me since I became a satellite...Wishing you all the happiness and health in this world!!! Today I tried doing this because my other hand was full...I must say it's actually pretty efficient. I might start biting my jacket more often... The first thing I thought when I saw that was, "did ANA take part in the designing as well?" Oh man, now that you mention this, I'm rooting for Yuzu to be a coach. Then in future I can point at 50 year old Yuzu at the K&C, "See kids, that's the GOAT of figure skating! He's the one who got me into this sports." That's a very good description of ACI seimei. =P

We cannot thank you enough! You deserve a medal! Yuzu is so extra even when it comes to ice cream flavors! I think I'll just stick with Yuzu sorbet, thanks! I agree. I feel bad for him whenever he emphasizes that he's an athlete, not an idol. Which is why I write simple and short messages only with fan compilation projects. I want to show him my support but I try to minimize my contribution to the overwhelming-ness of all these attention. I would think he's introverted since he says so. I have friends who are surprised when I told them I'm introverted. I like hanging out with people but at the end of the day I need to retreat somewhere alone to recharge. I'm sure Yuzu knows himself best. I want to see this again for the Olympics banquet!

Every time I see adorable videos like this, I feel sad that I'm older than Yuzu. I missed 2017, the magnificent year of Hope and Legacy. It will forever be my favorite Yuzu program! Your reaction is great! Personally I feel that with the exception of SS where Patrick might have a small edge, I think Yuzu is the best at all other components of PCS! I think maybe they wanted to name more skaters so it doesn't sound like they are biased Yuzu fanboys? And I shall interpret "not his forte" as a "only 95/100 rather than full marks"...woes of a super-achiever.

Congrats on page 2000!!!! We're now officially in the 21st century!!! And on the talk about Yuzu being judged at a higher standard, I agree it's unfair if it applies only to him. But I kinda feel that despite throwing candies, the judges still know who's the best out there. With the exception of his H&L free skate, all his records have been set with 4T and 4S quads only. Despite the higher BVs of the younger skaters, they don't come close to beating Yuzu's record. Makes me think that perhaps the judges are throwing candies to make the competition more competitive? But they still know Yuzu is the best, so his old records will only be broken by the other skaters AFTER he has already set another record. It's unfortunate that Yuzu has to skate the lights out to get the credit deserve...but I think that's also what makes Yuzu special. He's so good, you can't stop him from breaking his previous WRs even if you try to underscore him!

Aww, BB's voice was so adorable! Meanwhile, I wonder who has been consistently breaking WRs... And looks like we'll hit 1994 or even 2000 before the end of this month!

P&G is also trying to cope with Yuzu-withdrawal symptoms. Did he always watch cooking shows or did his mum always watch cooking shows and he just happens to be there?

Currently I think there are no cures or vaccines for this virus. Lucky or not, most of my friends around me seem to have a natural immunity towards this virus. A few has some small allergic reaction towards the virus, but none are like me...I've totally succumbed to the virus... One characteristic symptom is that I'll go into withdrawal when the virus isn't active. I'm doomed to be this virus carrier for life...

So happy to see the thread in squishy mode! If I can only ask Yuzu one question...wow this is so tough...there're so many things I want to ask him! Hmm, if I really have to choose, then I guess I'll ask him about how he feels about his fame, especially in Japan. He loves his country so much, but what does it feel like to be unable to move around freely...
