  1. @Murieleirum I think I am knocking at your rabbit room but cant get in
  2. Hi, can I join? It's Pamela
  3. There were tears 😭 that was gorgeous! some fans are so clever!!!!
  4. It feels so exciting …. and a bit wild and unpredictable, like when he was younger! He could do anything, he's Yuzuru Hanyu! He has potential to be so powerful in the world of figure skating, now AND when he is no longer competing, he could do so much to further the sport, even address some of the discriminatory practices and inequalities in the sport (he once said in interview that he was going to Waseda because he admired Shizuka who attended there, and he hoped to be as socially aware as she was....) Oh Yuzu, I have such BIG plans for you lol!!! "Revolution on Ice" could take on a whole new meaning!! Ooops, think I'm moving a bit off topic so I'll stop!
  5. Same!! It doesn't matter to me what it is called, when I see Yuzuru do it in that clip, it's beautiful (but thank you so much for letting us know the name !!)
  6. Yuzu talking about watching Plushy's performances over and over again and he stil does! And he watches ice dance and pairs more now....(sorry if this already posted, didn't see it??)
  7. Ooops the Olympic Channel seem to believe that Evgenia Medvedeva was the Olympic Gold Medallist before she moved to Orser & Co in Toronto - I am sure she wont mind though! Still, kudos for keeping up with Yuzuru you guys at OC!!
  8. I love this sentiment - I do feel Yuzuru has become outward looking, whilst always being proud of his heritage
  9. A true strategist, amongst everything else! Yuzu, a black lacy outfit a la Plushy's Nijinsky @ CiONTU (but more Extra! with some flowy bits … and many more sparkles!) would be a wise game plan too ……… IMO of course ……..
  10. THanks so much for this it gives us a much better picture of the possibilities of the programme, it's just beautiful
  11. How are we supposed to NOT be in love with HIM when he does THIS type of thing??? I just want to be in love with his skating please, skating Gods...pleeeaaase I beg of you this is gonna be the end of me..... ….not wanting to be toooo dramatic or anything …….
  12. I am sooooo sorry guys but I just cannot help myself when the question has been asked-my Dad was an avid horseracing fan so whenever I hear Nijinski this is what I think of Nijinsky (horse) Nijinsky (21 February 1967 – 15 April 1992), usually known in the United States as Nijinsky II, was a Canadian-bred, Irish-trained Thoroughbred racehorse and sire. He was the outstanding two-year-old in Europe in 1969 when he was unbeaten in five races. In the following season, he became the first horse for thirty-five years to win the English Triple Crown. He is regarded by many experts to have been the greatest flat racehorse in Europe during the 20th century So - of course Plushy and Yuzu WOULD choose the GREATEST racehorse in the 20th century, maybe ever!!! (don't say you never learn anything useful on PH!!!)
  13. Oh let's dream !! It could come true …... so many wonderful music choices to come! (but then he is talking about history and these programmes leaving something to young skaters … and wanting to do the 4A this season/a deadline....which has a bit of an air of finality to me....but as usual I may be over analysing!! I think I try to hear what is being said behind the words....but might not always be accurate!) Anyway, let's enjoy what he is doing now and how happy he seems with himself, and how lucky we are that he is still skating
  14. I am blown away …… I can see him flying as I listen
  15. does this help anyone?? I have no idea what it means!!
  16. I want something like this please Yuzu:
  17. He really has, and he also attributes his success to their (and our) support, that he could not have done it without them/us and the other people around him - and there is no doubt in my mind about the genuineness of his statements relating to his feelings about his people and his supporters.....yet another quality that draws us to him, we know that he is genuine and true in his words and actions.
  18. I think there is some of what we have all said in why Yuzuru matters so much, but there is also the way he is linked to a terrible natural disaster in that he and his family and community physically experienced it as a trauma (and the rest of the nation and other people from around the world also emotionally felt for those affected), yet he was able to follow his dreams amidst his expressed mixed emotions about the disaster and the choices he was making about his life, and emerge as a symbol of hope - he is such a beautiful young man in so many ways, with a rare magnetism, wonderful communication skills, warmth, empathy, as well as his unique talent and artistry - he maybe was always destined for great things, but his personal history is tied into what his people experienced in 2011 and this is another factor in his significance to them (and the rest of us?). Hope this makes sense!
  19. I totally agree - I know he says he is an athlete first and his skill and efforts are just amazing, and it is this skill which helps him express his art so beautifully, but I think it's his artistry that we become so attached to - he really touches our hearts, well I suppose I should speak for myself, he really touches my heart EVERY time I see him skate, every programme has it's own beauty and meaning. I know his 2 OGMs are historic and athletically a massive achievement, but I think Yuzuru should be framed next to the Mona Lisa in Le Louvre (or it's counterpart in Japan may be more appropriate!), for he really is a work of visual art.
