    He has been named by JSF as selected for 4CC along with Shoma, and I have read somewhere he was also asked why he elected to go to 4CC so it seems he had some choice in it too. So, if he remains healthy, I take it he will definitely be there. Hence the 4CC ticket sales explosion!! (correct me if I am wrong, fellow fanyus!)

    I loved seeing the thought and working out you put into this translation, thank you! I really like to hear properly what Yuzuru says and means; Japanese seems such a poetic and nuanced language, The explanations by translators are invaluable! HAPPY NEW YEAR AND DECADE everyone!     Yaaaay this thread is a great idea (really?? there's a thousand threads??!) Hi Yuzuru! I wrote a little poem a while ago, after Helsinki GP in 2018, about what it felt like to watch you skate in person - really I'd love to write a song about you (to guitar) but I am not practiced or skilled at songwriting - If I had your determination I might start now and get lots of practice and produce something magical (haha if only!)..... but life tends to get in the way of the dreams I have, so a poem it is! I hope you like it! Dreams of Feathers and Bowstrings The pull on our heartstrings, It’s you! We’re anticipating Just watching and waiting For you! And the moment that comes When you walk in the space that we share, It’s full of excitement, Electricity hums in the air. Your presence delights us! We check out your costume, Your hair! (It might appear shallow, But it’s part of our love and our care!) It's part of YOUR love and your care that you spend precious time, Making sure that every detail is perfect, Just fine. We like to appreciate the things that you do, we're your fans! From the lip synch to anime songs, to the gloves on your hands! We wait for the moment of truth; You stand and prepare, All eyes are on you (but I try with my might not to stare!) You glide out on your stage And the audience cheer loud and high, The starting position, A hush descends now, Watch us die!! We get lost in the story The feelings you show, they’re a truth, And we’re right there beside you We feel the emotion with you. Of course we’re in love with you I can’t see how else it could be, For the beauty and grace and the power, that’s what we all see. As the music approaches the climax of your heartfelt dance, There’s not a dry eye in the house, we’re caught up in a trance! The stadium rings out in applause, and then up from above the Poohs they rain down on the ice as we show you our love 💕 The gala comes next and we wonder what programme you'll skate, We're holding our breath, will it be LGC? Let's just wait! And you don't disappoint, Swanyu dances; Sakura she floats, There is never a doubt in our minds that we've witnessed the G.O.A.T.!! Watching you skate like this, loving each thing that you do. That, Yuzuru, is the wonder, the Magic that’s You ✨⚡️💓 I will be supporting you for as long as you put on those skating boots and grace the ice! Thank you so much for our wonderful Christmas present of SEIMEI - it was everything I love about the way that you skate to music.

    Thanks for posting, I didnt see this before! In his interview post-swan, he uses such beautiful words to describe his feelings - "blissful" is how he says he felt, and that is just how it felt to the audience as well (well to me anyway!),a blissful performance - and what HE felt from the audience was so true, an absolute outpouring of love from what seemed to be every person in the stadium, including the cameraman by the K&C! I think he is starting to really understand and feel how we feel about him and his skating ... at last! Yuzuru, we just want to see you skate because its ALWAys a beautiful experience for us, and when it's also a beautiful experience for YOU too Yuzuru, then, truly, magic is created.

    Gosh I am exhausted just looking at that!! Poor Yuzuru has to be at freeskate practice at 7am on his special quarter of a century birthday!! (never mind us attending fans too - up at 6am folks!!) - and the day's skating doesn't finish till nearly 11pm, a very loooong day...... BUT still very exciting!!

There's definitely things I've seen him do that seem to relate directly back to our conversations here". I had a similar(ish) experience to you - During FaOI in 2018 (I think!) I made a comment on the FaOI thread when Yuzuru had used a towel to wipe his sweaty face, I said something like - "no dont throw it away, throw it to me!"...... and the very next FaOI he did that teasing thing of pretending to throw his (sweaty!) towel to the audience....I really wondered then if he had been going through our threads!!

    I have read somewhere that there was a plan originally for LGC to be his Olympic Short (not specifically from Yuzuru but from his team - maybe when music choice and choreo were being worked on) but that he never felt fully comfortable with the programme during the 16/17 season, whereas he loved (loves!) Chopin, felt it could be developed even further, and thus went with that for the Olympic season.

    When he spoke about using these programmes for this season, he said that Origin might take 3-4 years to perfect.......if he doesn't land 4A this or next season, these could be his Beijing programmes never mind just next season!!

    So excited!! Just seen on Twitter that our Overlord is on his way to Kelowna now!! (Seen at Toronto airport 3 hrs ago allegedly!!) We will be seeing him in 24 hours approx at practice hopefully 🙏💙💜✨
