    In my experience, many women like to wear big chunky watches, often thought of as men's watches - I hope if Yuzu designs a watch for Citizen it will come in a smaller size and a bigger size, so women (and men!) can choose whichever size they prefer (maybe he could do one for kids too!!)

    He just said “Yuzuru desu” - no Hanyu! Have we heard him introduce himself with just his given name before?? There are few legends who become known only by their given name - Yuzuru could be one of those I think! edit: just listened again - he DOES say Hanyu, sorry! He’s too quick for me!

    How does he know about these things?? He tells us he only focusses on skating....so basically whilst his mum is doing his laundry, he's watching taobao models on youtube, not working out the trajectory of 4axels?!! he certainly has some diverse interests/knowledge, this gorgeous interesting funny bee-loving athlete/chocolate-from-yuzudispenser-eater/wannabe-taobao-model!!

    Yuzu will be strong, fit, and beautiful when he's 50 I am sure! I saw Kurt Browning skate at Revolution on Ice in Madrid in December - he's 50, and he was fantastic! So hopefully you have many years yet (25!!) when you will be able to see him skate. I cannot imagine him stopping, can you? I also think he is going to get better and better when he is free of the constraints of competition ... he is a fabulous artist who will continue to bloom for years to come IMO Edit: here's a couple of youtube links for Kurt at ROI last year! (in trashbag pants!! ... Yuzu, save yours for when you are 50 please!! )

    I’m crying again now 😭agree with everything you say katja . I remind myself that Yuzuru is also a joyous person - other skaters and coaches comment on this - and it’s lovely when we see it too, in his skating, or in his interactions with Nobu for example - Continues with Wings was so lovely because of this sense of joy (and gratitude of course, it’s Yuzu!). I couldn’t wish him happiness any harder than I do, that’s true of all of us I think.
